  1. You should be able to book it once on board the ship.
  2. The NCL Epic is docking in Barcelona, port of call... My question is, Is the nearest Metro within walking distance? or is there a shuttle available? I just plan to walk around, or take the metro to different areas...and I do not know if I can get there by walking, or do I need another way? I was on the Epic in 2019, leaving from Barcelona, but I took a cab from my hotel to the ship at the time. I do not know if it is easily accessable via foot. Thanks
  3. I called to have my milestone credit applied to my upcoming cruise...The lady I spoke with said that she filled out the request to send to the proper department, and that the credit should show up about a week before the cruise.. I was wondering if this was normal... Will it show up on my documents? Will they send me an email confirmation? I don't want to show up on the ship, and it not be there. Thanks
  4. I am actually inquiring for a friend who will be travelling on the same cruise as me. I told her to check with her doctor/pharmacist to find out about the requirements of the insulin. I will pass this info on to her. Thanks
  5. Question.. Which rooms have the mini fridge in them on the Epic? I know that the balconies do, but what about the studios or insides? If there is NOT one in the room, can one be requested for medical reasons (insulin)? Thanks
  6. My DH was wondering what there will be available to eat late at night...after 10pm until about 3am? I tried looking at the website, but it really did not give me that information. Thanks
  7. I am booked at the Travel Lodge by the needle... What is the easiest way to get there from airport? Is public transportation a good and easy way? What about ride share? Thanks
  8. Just stop by Guest Services and they will apply the gift cards to your account. Keep the cards, just in case (do not throw away). You do not have to do it right away, you can wait until the crowd dies down.
  9. The teenager that jumped was not on a cruise ship...it was a pirate ship in the Bahamas...like an excursion ship..
  10. I always go to gs on the last night and get a paper print out of my statement..and look it over. It is easier to catch and correct errors before the last morning.
  11. I have the choice of 3 different ships, Epic, Viva and Prima. I have been on the Epic before, but not the other 2. Can you please give me your opinion on these ships? Thanks
  12. The studios are on deck 11 & 12. Which deck is the lounge located on? Thanks
  13. The dock is near a metro stop. It is about 3 or 4 stops, changing lines mid way, to get to city center. Easy to access.
  14. I have never sailed on Princess, but have on other lines. I have some questions, am thinking of booking the Ruby. 1. Is the upgrade to plus a good deal? 2. What is the premium deserts? 3. What is the medallion experience? Thanks for your help.
  15. It has been quite a few years since I've been to St. Maarten. Is there anything near the cruise port? If I wanted to go to the French side, what is the best/easiest/cheapest way to do so? If I wanted to go to Orient Beach, what is the best way to go? Thanks for all information!
  16. What can you use these for? Casino? Cruise next? Thanks
  17. My last request, I sent in on 8/3, then again on 8/30. Finally got the approval on 10/1. For 11/28 sailing.
  18. A few years back, booked the day before the cruise...Nothing like telling the hubby (went solo) and last minute packing...lol
  19. I am arriving in December. How is the metro or bus travelling from the airport to the Rossio area? How much is the fare? I know that arranging a car or taking a taxi might be quicker, but more expensive. I enjoy taking the local transport. Thanks
  20. It is..they are also giving tours and have the give away...so a lot of traffic.
  21. Are the E Med tests being accepted for Bermuda? I am debating on the transatlantic with the stop in Bermuda. It would mean testing while in Lisbon, since I would go over a few days early. I am hoping that NCL drops Bermuda from this cruise, like it has others. Thanks
  22. I have never booked my air with NCL...Will they allow you to request arrival a day or 2 in advance of the cruise? Thanks
  23. I am at 74 points, 1 away from next tier. When I book my next cruise, will I automatically be granted the new tier status at the beginning of the cruise, or does it go into effect at the end? Thanks
  24. Years ago, around 15 or so, in New Orleans, the fuel truck had a coupling on the hose come off..1 or 2 cages full of luggage got soaked with diesel fuel. The passengers did not find out until after the cruise had set sail. There is no way you can wash/clean the luggage and the contents... Luggage falling into the water, though a rare occurrence, still happens occasionally. I bring on 1 medium size and 1 back pack...always carry on. When my husband used to cruise with me, we did 1 large, 1 medium, and tote. Always carried it on. The porters would tell you, as you passed by, that you would have to check it...but I know better..having done so many, many times.
  25. I tested positive after my last cruise ,4/30 - 5/7/22. I had to cancel my next one, 5/21/22. I tested again within the 10 days prior to that cruise in order to cancel with out penalty. I had an international trip scheduled for 6/6/22. I went to my Doctor and got him to give me a document, on the letterhead, stating that I had Covid within the last 90 days, and that I am cleared for travel. Luckily I did not need to use it, since the US Govt. declared that negative tests were no longer mandated to enter the US from international travel. Basically, you will need the same approximate document, along with a positive test from within the 90 day window. I would recommend a test from Walgreen or CVS, instead of EMed, just to be on the safe side.
