My calls to CS are usually good. They answer quick. They help. When changes are made, they send confirmations that I check while still on the phone. No horror stories to share. This is from 2019 until now. Maybe I've been lucky all this time. Actually, the one time there was a snafu, when I stepped back and looked at the whole situation, I had a role in it also. When I called to have it fixed, it was all done. No issues. So, again, no horror stories to share.

I've never had that type of cabin on the Seascape. That's mainly because when I look at the videos, it looks like you have very little privacy. Not sure if that matters to you. I just don't like how they are located in or near that area where it curves. Happy cruising!

Hello All, I browsed some posts on here about good luck bidding on YC. Writing to ask about anyone with experience successfully getting two different cabins successfully into YC by bidding. There are two bookings now. One is for an Aurea Balcony. The other is a deluxe balcony with Fantastica experience. Both on same deck. Would definitely bid if just one booking. But, not sure to do it if there are two bookings. Yes, they need to be together. Right now the bookings are linked. Thoughts? Anyone been lucky in this situation before? I guess a separate question. It's the same family, but they have 2 separate bookings for the 2 cabins. Wondering about the pros and cons of that. The second cabin has someone that has a bit of medical challenges so it's a higher likelihood that the person may have to cancel and not be able to go. So, I think that was the main reason for 2 separate bookings so that cancelation does not impact the other booking at all. Thanks

We will be sailing on the Seascape in December. Sailing out of Miami. Aurea balcony cabin. I was just informed that our check in time is 3pm. Hmmm. Way too late. So, based on what's typed above, we can show up in the morning and check in? The 3pm time just shocked me Thanks

Yes, there is a rather active recent thread on here about this topic. They discuss what is mentioned about a limited number of solo reservations per sailing depending on how the cruise is selling. Hope you can find that post. I cruise solo a lot. So, I totally get your disappointment. Goid luck.

There is a picture of the 2 of them together on the cruise. They are not identical twins at all. Easy to see major differences. So, I don't think thr twin element is a big factor. One thing is certain, the details in the reporting is a bit inconsistent from one report to the next. Many people are speculating now. Hopefully with time, more clear and consistent info will be known.

Yes, need a way to open a cabin with someone solo in it that is having some medical stuff going on. Her dad wants to be able to check on her from time to time and maybe spend the night with her if she is having a rough time, just to make sure she is OK. She really wants to go on the cruise. He went on his first cruise ever last year and is now hooked. So, he wants her to rey it out. She has a lot of medical stuff going on right now and some mobility challenges. This is a birthday cruise for her. So, just want to make sure she has what she needs to feel comfortable. A solo cabin is better for her. So, just want to make sure someone has access to check on her. Buying a wrist band for her cabin might be the solution if we can't get a second key card for her solo cabin. Just need to know all the options in case one does not work out as hoped.

Does MSC offer wristbands that can be used to open cabins? Maybe that can be an option for this situation? Just thought about that. The daughter can buy a wristband which her dad can use to check on her. She will keep her original key card. Thanks

Hello All, We have a sailing booked on the Seascape. My friend's young adult daughter is booked as a solo in a cabin by herself. She has been having some medical and mobility challenges and has had a couple medical procedures recently. She will most likely have another procedure before the sailing. Her dad is booked in another cabin, but wants to be able to check on her at times throughout the cruise and maybe even stay the night with her if she has a rough day. Has anyone had any luck getting an extra key to a cabin? I'm guessing the first day will be of concern since that's travel day and may be more taxing for her. And maybe a day or so during the cruise if she overdoes it. How has Guest Services responded to requests like this? Thanks!

Hi all, Hoping someone can help. I think it was last February 2022 while sailing on the Encore I enjoyed a great griup called The Temptation Band. They were going on break soon after that sailing and said that they hoped to be moving on to the Prima. I'm writing to ask if anyone has seen this band recently on a NCL ship. They were great. Im looking at a possible NCL sailing in December. Just curious if they are syill playing on a ship now. Thanks!
