  1. Wonderful about not feeling full and that you found a great way to avoid the crowds for disembarking. I have a couple questions that may seem odd. 1) I saw in a couple photos from summer and fall sailings with images of balloon drips over the promenade. Was there something that that during your sailing? 2) How was the cruise director? I read on here that there was a switch in CDs in November. Just wondering if you have any thoughts to share about the experience with her. 3) How was the Quest since its returned now? 4) Any tips to share based on your recent sailing experience? Thank you so much!
  2. Sounds great. We fail on her in two weeks. Would love to hear more about your experience this week. Ate Christmas decorations finally up? Did the ship feel overly crowded?
  3. I sail on her in two weeks. What was your cruise experience this week?
  4. He was sailing in November. Booking shows in advance in the planner was just opened by Royal starting with December sailings. That was not an option for November sailings.
  5. Sure, complete the survey. hopefully many people will complete the survey. But, my comment was specifically about the status today of the new test menu on the Symphony. Thanks
  6. When is your cruise? Right now this is only a test on Symphony. It is not on other ships at this time.
  7. Awesome. I hope that many people.received the survey and complete it.
  8. I would love to do the balloon ride and it's at a great price right now. But, its sold out for me, again. Maybe next time.
  9. There are a few recent posts on this topic. If you have a Des to the search feature, you will he able to check those threads out. The topic is debated a bit. Also, there are several YouTube videos that I found helpful.
  10. How's your cruise going? How's the Symphony? Will be sailing on her in a few weeks.
  11. How does the beach area compare to the other beaches? Also, do people usually spend the entire day there since you paid the upcharge OR do you usually hang out in other areas on that same day as well?
  12. Very helpful. Thank you. Was there 1 or 2 ships there that day? When we are there in a few weeks, 2 ships will be there that day. So, trying to put your experience in context of 1 ship or 2 ships. Thanks
  13. Is that the price for a regular balcony guarantee? Is that during spring break? Just asking because it seems a bit high for an inside or a balcony at a guarantee rate, unless that's spring break which seeks like it might be. I am sailing on Symphony in a balcony with two people in a few weeks and it's hundreds less. No one commented on those inside prices so I guess folks think that is an ok price. Just seems high for me .
  14. how else was your week on Symphony? I will be on Symphony on few weeks. Would love to hear about your experience. Taking a first time cruiser. So hoping an planning for a great week. Let me know I'd you have any suggestions based on current conditions / experiences. Thanks
  15. Ok. Thanks. I was thinking you meant that something at the Beach Club itself would be improved. Yes, I've read reviews about Coco Cay now that more people are sailing. Sounds like people are spread out over the island so it's not overly crowded now. I'm glad that they have so many different spaces and options for people. Thx
  16. Wow, it does sound like The Key is really not that much of a value for you, depending on the cost. Totally understand. Thanks for this post. It helps put your review of The Key in better context.
  17. Hi there, what are you thinking will be better about it now that the ships are full? We are still considering trying it. But, with ships full, we are thinking that it will be less quiet which is the opposite of what we would want to pay for? What do you think will he better now that more passengers are sailing on ships?
  18. Hi there, we are considering as well. But leaning more to no. What makes it "so worth it" for you? Thanks. Also, hows the beach there compared to other areas? And, do you stay there all day OR do you explore other areas of the island that day as well. Thx
  19. Hi there, what are the nice treats that they put in your room with The Key? And, what is the nicer welcome and special meals? I've had The Key before so I'm wondering what I missed. I know about the abbreviated Chops lunch served in the MDR on embarkation day. I dont use or want the disembarkion day breakfast so we skip that. But, based on your post, it sounds like there must be a bit more included related to meals. Wondering what I missed. Thanks!
  20. I usually make all my own cruise bookings. But, many people on here have about the benefits of using a TA so they dont have to deal with cruise lines, like Royal, directly. So, I'm curious why in this situation, the OP made those calls to Royal to figure out a solution versus the TA doing that work initially. I enjoy booking my own stuff because I enjoy the planning process and dont have many issues during 5hat process. But, if a person using a TA also has to contact Royal directly to problem solve, then I'm not sure why a TA is used. Why did the TA not just handle this entire situation? Just curious.
