  1. Great review. Sorry to hear about the uninvited and unwanted touching. I've sailed solo as a woman many times without any issues like this. But, mostly 7 day sailings. I've heard that shorter cruises do have a different vibe. It's great that you had a good time other than that. Congrats on making Diamond! (Oh, that breakfast looked interesting, lol)
  2. Ok. We are not going to be too stressed about a few minutes different. We are going on a cruise! We don't get bent out of shape about little things like that! Woohoo cruising! 🛳🏝🌞🤗 Just four weeks to go!
  3. Ok. Well for now, I'm going with what is reserved for me. I will check it out Day 1 at the dining room like I usually do. No worries. Doesn't seem to be a problem for now.
  4. Oh, that's interesting. My traditional early dining was scheduled by calling Royal. The time appears on my docs and in the app. Should I assume that the time listed will not be accurate when I cruise next month? If so, who should I contact to get an accurate dinner reservation? Thanks
  5. For somewhat more accurate information for your specific cruise, it's probably better to contact Royal to ask or ask your TA to ask for times for your cruise. Responses here will he all over the place since the times on ships is all over the place 😉
  6. It's interesting how frequently this question is asked these days here on these boards. I guess it's more people starting to cruise again. Seems useless to be given a time if folks just keep showing up to check in whenever they want. Oh well. That's not much different than many other things and situations in life I guess.
  7. Also, how about reading in Central Park. When on the Symphony, I've seen several people select quiet spots in there to read. I understand Wonder might be a little different in the park, but might be worth checking it out as an option
  8. Just to clarify, the announcement from Carnival about the $5 charge after the first 2 entrees, is not limited just to lobster. Once folks get to entree #3, its $5 per additional entree. The question some folks had in response to the I initial announcement was whether or not that would be the same price for lobster or if it would be higher.
  9. Oh, I've seen many people order 2 or 3 entrees. I wonder where all that food fits. That's just the entrees.
  10. Hi there, I'm on Symphony next month as well. Im so looking forward to it. Congrats on getting the shows reserved. I'm not sure if you've seen it, but there is an active thread on here about the show reservations having a soft re-open for certain ships starting in December. I would link it here so you can read through it, but I cant link it. If you want to check it out, it's just a few pages back. There is a lot of chatter in that thread. It was posted the day Royal opened the advance reservations. So far I have everything reserved except one thing. Which date are you sailing? Hope your planning is going well. 🙋‍♀️🛳🏝⏰🌞
  11. Oh wow. Thanks for sharing your perspective. Kost folks on here that posted about him seemed to like him. It's goodto read other perspectives. How was your cruise overall? Would be great to hear about it. I'm just four weeks away from sailing!
  12. Thanks for sharing. I wonder if the one door versus two door situation varies depending on the class of ship. Hoping someone that's been on Symphony responds also. Hope you had a nice cruise.
  13. Yes, that is so much fun. The adventure of a good last minute booking. Works for ports within driving distance. 🤗
  14. Wow, #2 is rough. To help with #3, I usually track prices so I can truly know if the "sale" price is really a sale or not. The funny math online at times is indeed funny. But, tracking helps the reality set in. Happy cruising.
  15. Thanks. I just received my magnet order this week. Thx
  16. Ok. The postings above and on two active related threads, it was said that there was only one door between the two connecting cabins based on their experience. Hence, there was easier issue for noise between the 2 cabins. But, I see that you posted that when you said a few years ago, the Lee were 2 doors. The two posters that were on oasis, said it was one door. Have you remembered which ship you sailed on that had 2 doors? I havent seen any posts from Symphony guests yet to comment on their experience with connecting cabins. So, I assumed that the setup on Symphony might he similar to Oasis unleashed they took into consideration complaints from prior guests to change it from one door to 2. Thanks
  17. Thank you so much. I was stressing a bit.after reading some postings on here. I really appreciate you taking the time to respond. Have a great Sunday 🙋‍♀️
  18. If I am reading your question correctly, you are asking if you book a cruise now in Nov for a cruise next month in December, will you get a price adjustment or OBC? The answer is no because if you are booking a cruise now for next month, you will pay in full and will be past final payment since the cruise is so soon. If the price drops before your cruise next month, you can call and inquire about an upgrade depending on the actual price drop. If you mean December 2023, there are those options if the price drops before your final payment deadline. Sorry if I am misunderstanding your question.
  19. Currently, after payment, if the price drops, you may have an option to try to upgrade the room if prices drop. Not FCC or money back. I'm booked to sail in December also. So, a possible upgrade is what I was informed is my option if prices drops.
  20. Hi there, we are booked on a cruise next month on the Symphony and have connecting cabins that I'm concerned about. The people in the other cabin are not with us so I dont want to hear noise from that cabin. I'm working on changing, but nothing is available now. I will keep checking. But, question about the blanket technique you mentioned. Do you know if her put blankets on both sides of the door OR just inside your cabin? Also, which ship were you on? Thx.
