  1. Been on 137 cruises and never had a bag crushed. Way more damage to my bags when we fly, versus cruising.
  2. I have 18 booked right now, but only book the longer ones on board to get the OBC. Rest of them I book from home.
  3. no, it was a private party just for us with the officers. We maybe were the only ones making Pinnacle that trip, not sure, but no others were there with us.
  4. I do it all the time for a 7 night cruise or more. Get On Board Credit. I always know exactly what I want. Go in there, tell them and I am done.
  5. I have a hard time understanding why anyone cares. Only 2 ships allowed into CocoCay at a time and guessing Labadee is the same. We are off the ship shortly after we arrive and enjoy our day at beach until they throw us off!
  6. yes 12 bottles of 16.9 oz bottles of water, soda, ext.
  7. Paradise Beach All inclusive. An amazing place. We have gone there for years!
  8. We were alone on Freedom when we made Pinnacle end of June and we gave our cake to our cabin guy to take to the crew quarters. He told us it was gone in no time at all! We knew we would not eat it, and did not want to waste it, so gave it to the crew to enjoy. I even put a note on it with my signature, just in case anyone asked where he got the cake so that they would know he had our permission to take it to the crew quarters.
  9. That is what they did for us - no Top Tier Event, but they gave us a private party in the library next to Star Lounge. It was very nice. We just made Pinnacle end of June on Freedom.
  10. We just made Pinnacle on Freedom, end of June. Although they do not do an actual VIP event, they gave us a private party in the library. Captain, loyalty ambassador, cruise director, hotel director, and a couple of other officers were present. Photographer took pictures which they delivered to our cabin the next day. They made us a Pineapple Cake, gave us a bottle of champagne. It was very nice and they made us feel very special. I went to the LA the day we boarded and she already had it in her notes that we were making Pinnacle on the cruise. We also earned our 10th crystal block on Freedom. Pinnacle benefits start once your points actually hit. I already booked our free cruise and now just have to wait for our actual Pinnacle package to arrive. They said it could take up to 3 months before we get it. Our next cruise is in a month on Freedom and we will get the Pinnacle benefits on that one. Super excited to finally have made it.
  11. Don't pay for all the extras! So much out there is free - loungers/umbrellas, pool, buffets, Snack Shack, sports area, trams, etc. No reason to spend a ton of money unless that is your choice. Been there over 80 times and never spend a dime except for tips. If you have a package for drinks, that is also included out there.
  12. I could do that also, but with 19 cruises booked through April 2024, I just do them a couple at a time.
  13. I got the benefits within a couple days also. Does not take long for sure
  14. Well your post started with SO Disappointed with Royal. CATS- We don't like it either, just don't go see it, certainly does not make us Disappointed with Royal. Just one production show of the many Royal has that I choose not to go and see.
  15. Depending on her age, it should be. Younger children only need a birth certificate I think. Ove 12, needs a school ID or something in addition to the birth cert.
  16. Try Astronaut Row. Fairly close to the beach and all three hotels have park and stay and shuttle service to the port. We have stayed at the Radisson and used their shuttle service many times. Maybe 5 minutes to the beach.
  17. Depends where you are cruising from. If from the US and it is a closed loop, then yes, her certified Birth Cert and ID will be sufficient.
  18. NEVER! Love my beach days and really like Labadee. Have not been in a long time and cannot wait to go back. I will take a beach day over sitting on the ship any day of the week!
  19. We love Nellie's Beach, always sit there. Close to the bar and one of the most sandy beaches as far and entrance into the water. Husband loves to sit under the seagrape tree, but you can get umbrellas also.
  20. That is EXACTLY what we do. I am so against people taking off the auto tips and robbing the behind the scenes people that work so hard to make our vacation a great one.
