I posted the letter specifically for that ship they told me is gone. All you get is a copy of what's online. So 2 of you posted it to me to confirm exactly what I said? Not sure why. I have a copy and its a copy of all levels what's online. Not the old specific letter. The letter saying welcome to D+ here are the exceptions for this ship is gone. Dont know why people posting a copy of what's online. I just got off allure and was staring a fact. But ok thanks for confirming .... i guess you agree there is no specific letter as I said? There is for sure a difference booking refundable vs nonrefundable with next cruise. If refundable you pay the full deposit and get less obc. Is 11 night $900 deposit? My 10 day was. I booked refundable then transferred to my TA for the group rate, so the higher price only hurt for a day or so until he moved me to the group rate. I'm solo but pay deposit for 2 for group rates, so even for a 7 day I paid the full $500 deposit and only got $75 obc, not the full $100. @Ourusualbeachwill know exactly and explain better.

Lol I'm already seeing posts how people are never cruising royal again. ... over evening snacks. Its posted on wonder now too. I'd like to see the whole letter and about which cruises its affecting, how many high level were on. Crazy posts elsewhere. Once they starts snacks same time as my dinner imquit going. I didnt even get a welcome letter on allure. Usually it says welcome and your perks and I wanted to see bogo exceptions listed. I was told they did away with the letter. No letter lol. Poof.

I've seen it too and the button I think says foamed milk I click to add more. And yes the guy adds milk to the machine. I like a lot of cream so I add so much sometimes my coffee is barely warm enough to drink in the WJ. Not a huge deal but irritating some posters like smokey thinking we dont know the difference. I do. Not stopping me from cruising but I did notice it for sure.

No half and half is what I posted. The pitchers labelled cream had milk. I dont think that's the issue. I would have taken half and half. I got milk in the cream pitchers. I can tell milk from half and half. This comment will just get things started again ... there was no half and half. Only milk.

I seem to be in the minority and didnt love grandeur. I think my bathroom smelled, they deep cleaned it twice. I had a bug problem for 2 legs. I was on 4 legs. I like pizza piping hot from sorrentos oven, not carried up to the solarium where it wasnt as hot as I like. It was fine, just not my cup of tea. I watched their musical show and thought to myself lacking a bit. I was on the first legs out of texas when it came from the islands and they werent ready for twice as full of a ship imo. Internet I couldnt attach a attachment to a email, but I could email. I havent heard any plans to update grandeur. It was to be sold then they kept it. I prefer a larger ship with better shows and more food choices. Lots of glass to see out, but the cafe where they served coffee for instance, one crew who was doing everything and the line wrapped around one side of the deck. Needed one person doing coffee and the other ringing stuff up. They werent ready for texas. Had a problem with 2 hour dinners, mdr staff lacking. But the steward I talked to said all staff was short. I'm sure that's rectified by now.

Idk if you or others remember, it was a long time ago a no frills cruiseline tried to make a go of it where the pax did the work. No steward making your bed, or washing dishes, pax were going to do that. They failed. ... but I'm picturing this cruise devolving into this where pax are there trying to cook their own dinners and no cabin service. .. and that was before this where now they no longer have a ship lined up. But everyone said much better deal than rcl 9 months cruise .. what a good deal.

Half and half to me is cream. I didnt see anything like this on allure, milk. All containers were milk. I can tell if its half and half it would lighten up my coffee more. Only milk every container in sept on allure. The thread you referred to is correct. Just milk.

Well at least I know I'm not the only solo who got assigned a tiny solo cabin from a inside gty. Me too, I'm a never again inside gty. If I wanted a solo 2W I'd book one directly on purpose.

Really? I got assigned one too from a inside gty and just didnt go. Mine was a 10 day and wasnt happy with the bed size. I'd broken my arm needed a full bed. Didnt expect a studio. Interesting you still got 2 pts a night. Can I ask when you did this cruise, the date approximately. @Ourusualbeach

I have a order in with my TA I'm on the look out for a cruise to Bermuda. And of course I'll look too. I'll be on a ship for 3 weeks starting nov 26 so a little harder to keep up if they are late coming out.

I've seen multiple articles they are looking for a ship. Maybe same one repeated idk. First it was crew quitting, now they are a go . ... just need to find a ship to hire.

I once did a cruise to nowhere on ecstasy out of Galveston and we were charged a tax. Never could find out what the tax was for. Hurricane caused us to change from a 4 day to a 3 day, not planned. Since we didnt hit a foreign port they said taxes would apply. I forgot my deodorant and had to buy some secret onboard and ran into this tax. Seems tax free doesnt apply to cruises to nowhere, planned or not. Wound up like $9 for secret. I asked even at customer service but got no answers wh onboard stores had taxes but not some other stuff. We were in international waters so wasnt texas tax. And didnt apply to everything. Made no sense to me and staff also clueless. Just shrugged.

I thought that change was years ago. I have seen posts about new menus, not sure how improved, but supposedly they are trying to improve dinner menus. Was it magic they were trying out new menus? I'm not on dream until jan so havent been on caenival lately but that was my big issue was dinner was not good. Liked everything else but dinner. I see john keeps posting menus saying what would you have. I dont look closely, it is what it is. Worse comes to worse I'll eat a lot of pizza. Or BLT sandwiches.

While there are a couple of volcanos in hawaii not all islands and the island is protected along the coasts where the majority live from weather extremes. Oahu there is a problem of oranges turning orange. They ripen but dont turn orange unless the weather drops below 60. A few areas north shore where you can drive up to a little height they try and grow them too, but alomg the coastal areas oranges dont always get enough cold to turn orange. Just dont go to the big island. The diamond head area on oahu long since dormant. Maui volcano seems dormant. .. big island not dormant. Kaui is beautiful. I woke up worried about Israel and having bad dreams. If its affected my dreams I can only imagine those living there or travelers who cant leave. I remembered a ship going there to drop off passengers and was worried about their flights out.

Ave O bed and breakfast is very nice though not technically a hotel and will drive you to the new terminal. I'm assuming you know there is a new rcl terminal opened last Nov.
