Sounds a bit miserable to me. I'm planning to cruise more and trying more pay restaurants to get a better eating experience. Take advantage of sales. I grabbed 3 of the Jamie's lunches when they were on sale. I doubt I'm the only one. Reaction to earnings was they took earnings in stride but at least stopped the sell off.beat and raised guidance going forward.

The faster your group gets onboard and stands in front of a dining person, the better choice of times. Maybe your group has to split up, idk if there arent 10 empty slots at the same time. 10 is a lot to seat one night let alone every night.

Allure last month would only book and pay for it onboard. And use night 1 or night 2. I had prebooked and he said he could move it, I said no thanks, he just cancelled and we started fresh full prices.

Allure had milk in the one labelled cream. Just putting something into a pitcher says cream isnt enough.

I got $75 obc solo refundable instead of $100. It's been posted sometimes it posts as $76, rounding can vary. .. 7 day wonder.

Maybe dinner went up but for me dinner is hardly % off, no sale, just the lunch shows on the 35% sale. I'm doing lunch.

I laughed when I read their letter they were excited to tell you they were sending you to another couple of ports. .. It was meant as a play on how excited they were to tell you. I've taken almost all the excursions offered at some time or other. Once I had a accessed tooth and knew their dentistry was free and called from dallas and set up a appointment. Took a taxi to town and back. I especially enjoyed one tour that showed me local areas. No homeless in cozumel they put them up. They have a special area for teachers. They offer them a mortgage to teach there and special low cost housing. Made me think all those port taxes add up. I've eaten mexican food here and there. Used to walk downtown and walk around, now it's kinda far to walk for me. I loved seeing the beach side, the back side of the island and hearing why houses arent back there, hurricanes keep wiping them out. So they dont build back there and that's why it's so deserted. Done some of the fake stuff where they show local color, not my thing, looked fake. I've even docked many times downtown where it's easier to walk around. The way you asked makes me think you think I havent seen cozumel over the last 20 years I've been docking there. Out of Galveston I've been there a lot. I have 197 points on carnival almost all outmof Galveston and a few out of new orleans. Carnival too goes there almost every cruise. Lol I wish chips and salsa were free at mexican restaurants there. Went to some excursion, it was like miniatures of ruins lol .. that one was a bust, guess i didnt read the description. Used to cruise with my sister who loves to shop. I havent done the thing where the fish nibble on your feet, but will. I've shopped for fake cuban cigars, have a group I attend who smokes not me. I know only one place downtown can be trusted. Have gone with a list, like look for a purse. Other stuff. Missed the jet boat twister I think carnival bought now. I feel completely comfortable taking a taxi around cozumel. Not sure why you seem to think after 20 years I havent seen a lot of cozumel. I have. Never used to book excursions ahead, that's new to me since covid. Also done princess ncl out of texas, to Galveston. Most people think it's odd I would make a dentist appointment when I'm docking there. Hard to remember but didnt carnival used to dock downtown all the time? I'm full up of tequila though I love tequila tasting. Just shopped out right now. Planning on moving. Not interested in the beach.

I've got my fingers crossed for excursion sales on black friday. Families I think cheaper to book private but solo usually better for me to wait for a sale and book direct. Imo depends how many you are booking for.

Mike I'll bet you are excited? I've been to cozumel I'd guess over 75 times. I'm in the anywhere but cozumel camp. Royal is excited.

Just walk back on the ship. There isnt a need for a special line. Show your new card and in transit to any rcl crew if they ask .. and walk on by everyone else. If you are fast the b2b folks might still be gathered in the terminal. .. sometimes run late. That last time we wound up all getting off, due to 2 stowaways even though we were checked in. The crew had to find 2 pax who didnt click off the ship.

I guess this is a joke. Even baby sized grandeur had it I found out after I missed a few. The lunch is buried in a whole page of other instructions. I've never heard of this as that's where everyone eats who just boards. I'd bet you just missed the mention of the lunch buried in all the other b2b instructions.

I'm sure @Ourusualbeachwill reply but unfortunately yes. For instance I'd prefer a corner aft but that category isnt included. Or my TA will have central park and ocean view balconies but not boardwalk balconies. A different TA will have group rates for boardwalk balconies but not central park. Not perfect but sometimes a big savings if you can make do with say a ocean view balcony on the hump, not facing aft. .. just my opinion.

In Sept the did those things they call ribs that have no bones. Like roast beef. 3 appetizer, 3 entrees and 1 to 3 desserts. One app and one entree will be vegetarian. Good desserts like royal chocolate cake or cheese cake. In sept lunch was at 11:45 in the Mdr. Sit down lunch. So I wouldn't want to get off and miss it. Yes last one sept allure the coast guard actually came onboard to the dining room where we were waiting and checked passports and they handed out the envelopes with new card and the in transit slip to show you are already checked in to by pass any lines in the terminal. Mostly they walk you off and you show your passport and get a envelope in the terminal. Keep the little slip of paper to by pass lines to get back onboard.

If you are walking distance from your car it's pretty easy. Go where b2b meet and do the shuffle with them. They will give you a envelope either there or go off into terminal and get it. In the envelope besides your new card will be a little slip of paper that says in transit. .. just show the card and the in transit. Also most b2 have a b2b lunch around noon which I wouldnt want to miss. A decent meal imo.

Ok mine on grandeur was so last minute I think I paid the whole total at once. I think I understand. Just want to get it right if I book onboard harmony.

So you are part of the group, but dont share the group pricing or being refundable like what I did, but I had to pay the full deposit for 2 people to get refundable group pricing. I paid a full $500 deposit to be able to get a refundable deposit to move to a refundable group rate. Even solo for group rates I do pay the full deposit or even when I just book direct with my TA. Seems a lot of ways to do this. In my case last year I booked some kinda last minute legs on grandeur for some quick pts. The price was lower than group rates so my TA moved me to the groups on 3 out of 4 legs and I got the group obc, but nonrefundable rates. I added it up and 4 short legs plus last sept b2b gave me the 340 solo pts, so I pushed and did those last minute. Really just for some quick points. Seems like what you do. Im doing a b2b2b on harmony starting nov 26 and hoping to do some booked onboard.

Typically black friday sales are planner items, not a sale on cruises. Maybe this year they will surprise.
