I had the last cabin boardwalk, deck 10 on allure myself, but not on this ship with the slides ... and so high up. I hope my friend isnt disappointed. OPs picture is good, but thanks.

Are you diamond? I see OP said diamonds are excluded from the lounge from 5 to 8 pm OP can you post a picture looking out the aft? I got a friend in the last boardwalk cabin wondering how much the slide obscures the view.

Your genie should reach out to you about a week before and can book your times. You still need to book shows but genie will for you. Over near the right front several rows were set aside for suites, sky class .. star class there were a couple seats right behind me on allure, middle front section, row 2, said reserved. A couple came in with their genie who stayed and watched with them .. 3 seats reserved, 1 extra for genie. Never saw that before .. maybe for these questions we should move to main section on rcl. YOU all need to do check in at 45 days out. Be sure and do it as that's when YOU pick a boarding time. It wouldnt inform you .. it's something you do. Shows are open to book on the app for dec. I booked shows for both my dec dates. They do fill up. Couldnt book online had to use the app. I would certainly be seeing how close to 45 days out you are and booking shows .. going to be harder once onboard. As someone said shows are when you run into crowds .. so maybe not your thing.

I'm on dream where we dock at colon Panama. I know we keep seeing the question asked if we will do a partial .. no we dock and have to pay for a excursion. If pride cant do a partial, docking would be a solution though I know the fees and taxes are more to do a partial. Better than not seeing the canal?

Promenade cafe and the park cafe is where I went for coffee. Might work other places like Mdr breakfast idk. I went to the cafes. Only good for small. A large takes 2 punches. 2 punches for other stuff. Dont count on 10 coffees.

I was on sept 17 and sept 24 and the letter was discontinued I was told. I wanted to see how bogo was worded. Grandeur letter said izumi excluded, but allowed on allure . Dont usually look but wanted to read it that one time. Curious. No letter.

I was told the letter in the cabin was discontinued. I was b2b on allure, no letter. I went and asked at guest services and was given that generic online handout. Dont expect a letter. I too wanted the ship specific letter they used to have.

Is there a way I can get discounted excursions. I think they are kind of expensive. I have 5 ports I'd like a excursion. Booked 3 due to price.

Magic is more open to the ocean. I liked to walk along deck 5 and see out. Vista has the smaller theater. Smaller comedy clubs so lines. Closed up deck 5. But newer and more pay restaurants. My friend got off dream yesterday and said its looking a bit worn, sister to magic.

Sometimes but often show times change from week to week. I havent had 2 weeks in a row with the same times.

I'd assume the 20% service fee was written somewhere on the menu. We dont know if it was or not. But I agree, wouldnt be back there to eat. State the prices fully.

It's a promenade cabin. I like them. Regular insides they put the bed in so tight of a space hard to get around it. I like these because the bed is easy to walk around. The drawers are bigger and deeper but about half as many. Enough for me of course. I havent had one. Keep just missing out. Upgraded to a nonconnecting pr. The cow cabin is a connecting pr. .. cow cabin came open later after prices went up. Couldnt change, different category. Before covid was all the same category.

Is she a pinnacle? Allure keeps giving me another cut, I should keep the menu. It's tough. Radiance gave me a nice fillet. Allure not in 4 cruises. Went twice. Better steak in the Mdr for dinner. I'm almost 100% sure I got e coli sept 2022 on liberty. I admit I used to eat a lot in the WJ and was making spinach salads. Come to think of it this sept no spinach put out? Over 50 other people posted to my roll call. Way more than I've ever seen even with covid. Friday dinner if that many all get sick, it's something onboard. Most likely food. We had many seeing doctors and getting tests who said e coli and food poisoning. Doctors results. One lady got admitted to the hospital for inconclusive tests. I was on the next week and still having issues. I tried to report it, and customer service YELLED at me. Said it was impossible that the ship food is tested. I got it in cozumel (I didnt get off the ship in cozumel). I mean the guy was yelling at me how it wasnt their food. I tried to show how many were posting we all got sick the same night. .. dont assume it cant happen. I only left the ship in roatan first port and did a excursion, and didnt eat any port food, just ate food from the ship. People called rcl and tried to report it and were more or less told if it's not covid they dont keep records. They didnt care. I get it if doctors were having trouble testing for what people had, it's hard to pinpoint. I eventually got sick enough I had to call my doctor and I told him some tested positive for e coli and he gave me some antibiotics for that. Just saying people do get sick from the food and rcl doesnt report it or keep records and denys it. I was on the ship 2 weeks. No food from ports. 50 others. Seems more than coincidence though I cant prove it. .. had forgotten about it, a year ago. Rcl got rid of spinach in WJ salad bar now.

Not counting serenade which is adding them for the world cruise, none have self serve laundry. I'd do laundry in miami before I left.

I suspect you mean the booking was booked prior to sept 2022 ..sept last year before rates went up last year. .. typo. I understood.

I've read for my level it says I get $6 but read if you use it within 24 hours you get $8 which has been my experience. Usually see $8 but last time I got $6 because I didnt get in there soon enough. Got sick sunday tbh, 2nd leg and so that leg I got $6. Won $13.75.. cashed out took the $13 and gave away the voucher for 75 cents. Have to stand in line at the cashier to get change. Machine where you cash in vouchers only gives the dollar bills. I'll be looking for the lucky heidi machine and try to get in earlier in the cruise coming up.. I cant remember diamond as I didnt used to use the free money.

I've done b2b before. First time 3 weeks I should say. I did 4 legs on grandeur but fewer days. 3 weeks will be a record. At the way cruise prices going up, might be my last idk. Lol. Cant predict the future. And I've never prepaid in 20 years, just not interested. I get obc and it covers tips plus something else so mostly covered. Cant prepay using obc. If they would let me use obc id prepay. Luckily I'm solo so just me for the extra tips. I'm one of the few here taking it pretty much in stride. Ok we will have to disagree this kno time. To me if something is common then I should expect it more often than not. Which hasnt been my experience. My port fees for sure were down before we cruised and right up to sail date. They changed ports on me twice to obviously lower fee ports but didnt get a dime back. Small theft in my book as these were port fees not cruisefare they should have kept. I tracked the prices often and had to add back in to figure out matching that my port fees when I booked were higher. Mbayley office said they dont reimburse lower port fees except as a ship decision. Common to me would be .. expected. More often than not. Etc. Maybe we just disagree what common means. We usually agree ... just not on this. If it was common then I should have gotten the lower fees from the new ports. I have the letter if you want to read. Agree to disagree. It's totally random, not common.

Lol sorry but on what evidence do you assume it's common to get a refund. A link please. I've had ports cancelled before we left to lower cost ports .. nothing .. missed ports nothing. A few got something ... a lot did not. I got nothing for either. I was on liberty and maybe the ship wasnt breaking even then idk .. but went to guest services before I wrote to mbayley and was told it was weather related we missed so nothing back. Link please. Two cruises in a row last year grand Cayman and jamaica was changed to much cheaper costa maya and roatan. Port fees for new fees my TA said they dont refund ahead ... up to the ship. So twice in a row and then 2nd time with the lower fees and taxes we also didnt dock. Seems illegal to keep money collected as port fees to me if not used as port fees .. but it's one more small ding. To me common means it would be common to happen when it's not common in my experience. It's a point to me against rcl they keep overpaid port fees.
