  1. All sodas on Celebrity are in cans, so no provided re-usable cups, and no fountain sodas. Harris Denver, CO
  2. Well, they have the ML in Japan for the full year, and those later sailings (beginning April 21, 2024) are still on the schedule and offered, so the stated reason of being oversold seems the likely actual reason. Harris Denver, CO
  3. Demonstrating my selfish nature, I only asked about April 9, 2024; which is the one I'm booked on. Harris Denver, CO
  4. No. I have no idea how they are making that decision. I can conceive of any number of methods, and none of them are going to avoid upsetting the affected passengers. I was really hopeful the fifth time was going to be the charm, so my fingers are crossed. Harris Denver, CO
  5. Good catch. I corrected that. Thanks, Harris Denver, CO
  6. I spoke directly with the Concierge desk. It's oversold this far out because the itinerary has been cancelled in 2020, 2022, 2022, and 2023. People with bookings were allowed to lift & shift, which created an extremely large number of bookings on these cruises. Harris Denver, CO
  7. I just got off the phone with Celebrity. The cruises are NOT cancelled, they are OVERSOLD, so they are having to cancel and re-book certain people. Harris Denver, CO
  8. There was some affect to container and cargo operations, but yesterday and today's (Princess and Royal Caribbean) cruises went as normal so no reason to worry. Harris Denver, CO
  9. They had golf simulators on the Century class ships. They flopped miserably. Harris Denver, CO
  10. That's the way I read it. Harris Denver, CO
  11. He was on Infinity in November and December of 2022. I would agree with you that a ship he's on will have a crew that's worth changing plans to be with. Harris Denver, CO
  12. He switched from Infinity to Constellation in Mid December. He'd been on IN for a bit, so he may be on vacation now. Harris Denver, CO
  13. In the past I've been able to do this IF I am booked on the future cruise I'm wanting to book the other person on. If you're going to do this have the person's Captain's Club number, address, email address, phone number and date of birth. Also, the default is for the booking to go to the travel agent you used for the current booking. If you don't want that, you'll have to make that very clear to the on board agent. You cannot simply book a third party on a future cruise while you're on a cruise. However, since the Future Cruise Certificates are transferable, that can be a work around if someone not on your cruise wants the on-board OBC for a future booking. Harris Denver, CO
  14. He was on Constellation very recently and likely still is. Staff emails aren't publicized. Harris Denver, CO
  15. If there are only GTY rooms, the most likely reason is that cruise is nearly sold out. Often Celebrity knows that travel agents have blocks of rooms held, than have not sold. They know they'll be getting these back, so they'll sell the GTY booking, and then assign rooms when the blocks are released by agents. Otherwise, there are cases where there are very few rooms left at all, and Celebrity can increase their flexibility by only offering GTY bookings. It allows them to move things around for issues like rooms needed for guest entertainers and so forth. Harris Denver, CO
  16. And then there's the past 72 hours in Ohio: Harris Denver, CO
  17. You're correct, there is now only the Zero Proof package, instead of the various non-alcoholic packages. That is true for kids as well. Harris Denver, CO
  18. Clearly they owe you substantial OBC since you'll be spending more time on board the ship than you wanted/planned. On-Board time should definitely equal On-Board credit. Harris Denver, CO
  19. @Ocdublin It sounds like you have notifications turned on for this thread, with the option to receive an email whenever there is activity. You can change to unsubscribe from the thread, or change how you receive alerts. Harris Denver, CO
  20. @stavy Well, On the M class ships, a Sunset veranda is considered the highest category of veranda, so you should get it, although you could theoretically still get a Concierge or Aqua room you may not think is an upgrade. On the M class, the Sunset veranda rooms have very large balconies. Harris Denver, CO
  21. You'd think they would be dingoes in Australia. Harris Denver, CO
  22. @stavy No,not necessarily. You will get a sunset veranda OR BETTER. This can be a problem on Edge class in particular, as most people would consider the sunset veranda to be superior to an infinite veranda, but the Prime Infinite veranda is usually priced higher than a Sunset Veranda, and thus is a "better" cabin for the purposes of a GTY booking. Likewise, I would rather have a Sunset veranda on Edge Class than a Concierge or even Aqua cabin, but those would certainly be considered "better" cabins. Harris Denver, CO
  23. Snitches get stitches Harris Denver, CO
  24. I’ve read the dress code threads here. I’m not going out in something with all those wrinkles! 😂 Harris Denver, CO
