Good morning, I’m up early this morning for no particular reason other than it was time. I guess I was anxious to see what Redneck Bob contrived for April Fool’s Day. It’s 72 and we also have the possibility of thunderstorms. Going to be a busy week as we leave for Fort Lauderdale next Saturday for our 20 day cruise on the Eurodam. Upon our return we have only one day before we head to Jacksonville where we will babysit our two granddaughters for a couple of weeks when our daughter and her husband go on a vacation to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary. We’ll make a run to the Commissary this morning and we have invited our neighbor over for dinner seeing his wife is away babysitting their grandchildren. Thanks Sandi for getting the Daily started and great pics of today’s port of call. Have a great weekend everybody.

Good morning! It was a wonderful sleep in till 10:00 this morning. Haven’t done that in a long time. Yesterday, at the dermatologist I had about 10 spots that got zapped and froze. Scheduled to have a biopsy on a spot on my lower leg in July. Glad I went and was pleased with the professional care. Roy I was happy to hear your update on your health. I was going to ask how you were doing. Bunson burner’s? Who makes this stuff up? Well, I’m way behind after the late sleep in so will will say thanks for the report and wish all you a good and upcoming weekend. Bruce

Good Morning. My dear Sue got home last night but not on schedule. Delayed out of Atlanta because of a late arriving pilot and then when she finally landed here the jet way broke and they couldn’t disembark. Finally had to be towed to another gate. We both have doctor appointments this morning and that’s why we have two cars. Need to start getting ready for the appointment. Happy Birthdays and Anniversary to all our celebrants. Thanks to all who make the Daily our morning first read. Someone asked me where do I get all my Meme’s from. I replied I pay someone to go through Redneck Bob’s trash cans. Bruce

Welcome back and thanks for sharing your cruise and pics. We had the Pinnacle Suite on Nieuw Amsterdam. First night I got up to go to the bathroom and ended up getting lost and blindly feeling my way around in the closet!

@rafinmd We climbed to the top of Diamond Head years ago for sunrise. I remember my clothes and hands were soiled from the rust on the handrails. Like you, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t attempt that anymore. @Quartzsite CruiserHave stopped to eat shrimp at one of those shrimp food trucks. I ordered the hottest spiced shrimp on the menu and about burned my mouth out. It’s a long travel day for DW. Her flight out of Fort Lauderdale is not til 13:20 and with layover in Atlanta doesn’t get home until 8:00 PM. We hope. We’ll be returning to Fort Lauderdale in ten days to board the Eurodam on Easter Sunday. Our comped we got Covid cruise!

Good morning! March 29 is a special day here in American because it’s Vietnam Veterans Day. There are many ceremonies throughout the country honoring, recognizing and thanking Vietnam Veterans. Special thoughts and prayers for those who paid the ultimate sacrifice and to all who served. For those still struggling with the demons of serving there please seek help. Danang 69-70 and 5 TDY’s after. Well my Sue returns tonight and it will be wonderful having her back. I miss her. Ordered a pizza last night 10” with four toppings. $34.00 with tip! Cost of things are unreal. We are fortunate but I worry for those who must be really struggling to make ends meet. So I slept in maybe cause it was back to cool weather. Fifty-five degrees this morning. Thanks for the Report and postings. Bruce

Yes DW organized and planned quite a few. We also did a pre visit to Machu Picchu and post Iguazu Falls. Sue is my personal Excursion Officer and does a fantastic job in planning great excursions. That was a few years back and wonder if she kept any info. She is presently on a cruise.

Speaking of drains. I had a plumber tell me one time to never pour milk down a drain as it builds up and will eventually cause a clog. I then remembered how many times I had poured spoiled milk down the drain. Glad you got it fixed and that is my Heloise tip of the day.

Slept in to the sound of rain and more in the forecast. Made myself spaghetti aglio last night so the house smells rather garlicky this morning. Just heard from DW that it is raining at Half Moon Cay so a bummer for many. Weed day! Who thinks this stuff up? I remember my grandmother picking dandelions in a field across the street and we would have dandelion greens for dinner. I heard one could make dandelion wine but never saw any. The greens were very tasty. The dandelions would stain your hands from picking. Now that goes back a few years. Lots of reasons for prayers today. Slaying of innocent children, victims of storms and wars and our own here on the Daily with medical, care taker woes and those pending treatments.
