  1. You are at level 0 or level 1. At level 2, they need to communicate the elevated level to passengers.
  2. Not a full list but yes, Coral. Also Ovation of the Seas earlier today Celebrity Eclipse Majestic Princess Grand Princess Carnival Spendor & Luminosa Both of the Dam ships Don't know about P&O - limited NZ itineraries
  3. I am not a fan of their poaching tin eggs either. They used to have garnish, which made them more visually appealing.
  4. There are some standard questions that come with lots of controversial answers. The funny ones are usually the right ones. Usually lots of fun just trying to decide an agreed answer among your group.
  5. Same issue. QE had a mention earlier on this or the other related thread.
  6. QE skipped the Fiords yesterday - cruised a straight line from Melbourne to the south of Stewart Island, so not weather related.
  7. I would agree. Aft is great, assuming the ship is bow in, as is nearly always the case. Starboard side of aft will give you best views of the bridge and opera house, if that is what you want.
  8. Just doesn't seem consistent with being banned from NZ ports to then call at a NZ port. Unlike other ships, Orion wasn't scheduled to do the fiords so it isn't just about keeping "dirty" ships out of there. So the plan would be to fix the problem, then onto Melbourne & Sydney - or are the passengers flying home from Wellington today?
  9. In order to avoid Vila's Rhino beetles, the schedule was flipped for them to go to Mystery Island first. Alas, another one of those medical emergencies caused them to skip Mystery island and go straight to Vila and overnight there.
  10. So, only Royal has Rhino beetles? Lets hope they don't breed with the snails, as that could stop the ships from going anywhere.
  11. That is from one of the stories woven into the movie "Love Actually". Billy Mack is a character in the movie, acted by Bill Nighy. We watched that on Fox again last night. Merry Christmas all, even those who are lucky enough to be cruising today 🤢
  12. Been there. We arrived on Diamond Princess thinking Christchurch would be closed. There was a full book of the usual tours, including kayaking and punting, and we had an awesome drive through the country to Waimakariri Gorge for a spot of jet boating on the river. Combined with the usual cruise day of not cooking or cleaning, drinks in Crooners and great food, it was a memorable day. https://www.alpinejetthrills.com/ is open again today.
  13. Same again for Quantum? Should have left Vila arvo of 24th for Mystery Island. They are still anchored in Port Vila.
  14. Wow. What a co-incidence 🤣 The surf & turf is +$40, not that you could eat the double serving.
  15. Some of the touristy stuff is open. Bound to be plenty of punting on the Avon.
  16. Nice tOWeL animal. Can't say I have seen one quite like that before. Merry Christmas
  17. Surf & turf, good choice. Nice that the ship has Australian pavlova, and not the NZ version 😉
  18. I am pretty sure it is noon, as they only have one full sea day between Noumea and Brisbane on those 7 nighters. Their 8 night/3 port cruises have a 5pm departure, but two full sea days.
