No....you didn't overpay. Now is a different circumstance. They are dropping prices to fill the ship because they still have capacity. Many times all that is left at this point is less desirable cabins and they know short term flights are more expensive so if they want to sell full they must drop the price. On other occasions the price goes up because the ship is near capacity and the don't expect you to send them more money than what you paid.

So Lyft was cheaper? I have to make the trip from FLL to Port of Miami this weekend.
-
You can certainly change it, they will just bill the gratuity then.
-
Early....I like to get it started.

Great info! Thanks.

Educational activities. Most use the people-to-people exemption. Box 2 if it is organized by the cruise line or another group, box 3 if you are on your own.

The OP is mistaken on the ships sailing full. The cold is a killer.

What made me go huh one time we flew into Cozumel and they brought the dogs around to sniff the checked baggage as it came off the plane. A friend asked if they were looking for drugs. The answer was no they were sniffing for fruits and vegetables being brought in.
Why does that surprise you?

Leave it on the ship as it isn't needed. No point in putting it at risk as it will be needed to re-enter the US. If it is needed on a port day such such as when someone is going to miss the ship it can easily be retrieved by the staff, plenty of processes in place for that including a port agent at every stop.

I upgraded twice on our upcoming cruise without any problem. They were very accommodating.

I would do it because your estimate is pretty much break even worst case. The freedom of 'all-inclusive' adds enjoyment that is hard to put a price on.
-
Anyone know if there is a special on the last day? I need enough time to check-in for my flight.

....bigger. It is a completely new experience. We welcomed it after years of becoming familiar with the common size ships.

It means '3 meals' just as the title says. Nothing to do with what days.

We are on the Escape 11/25 and have taken quite the journey. I initially booked an inside GTY in June and was assigned a so-so IF inside cabin all the way forward. The prices dropped before final payment and a IB GTY dropped to the same price. I was able to change to that an received a pretty good location on deck 12. After final payment the prices dropped again putting an OV GTY at the same rate as our initial inside, our agent contacted NCL who graciously upgraded us which included an additional perk as a bonus. We were eventually assigned a family OV in a pretty good location. I received another email about the upgraded advantage after the OV cabin was assigned. I decided to chance $50pp for a balcony and it was approved last night landing us in a family balcony.
I am pretty pleased. I was comfortable with the initial inside rate when we booked but after much moving around we ended up in a balcony for $50pp more.

The Escape has 2092 cabins, having 300 left 2 weeks before sailing is not really a number that can't be filled.

12 is fine....cabins above and below.

Does it give a 'download' link but when you click it there is a 'not ready' message?
-
Nothing is free. I guess they could always jack the price and 'give' you more. Right now they are keeping competitive with other lines since the dominate inclusion is the beverage package that the entire industry has moved to.

LOL....people kill me.
-
LOL....I don't understand why some chose to make this their 'cause'.
"It's not a gratuity it is a service charge" has to be the most meaningless argument there is.
-
'Large group' generally means I would be canceling.

Thanks and I'm glad you were able to use yours in the casino. However, as we don't want to blow $600 in the casino even if they let us, my question still stands.
People aren't actually spending it in the casino. They are loading the OBC amount on a slot machine or something, playing for a few and then cashing out walking away with the cash.

2 Wheels is correct....I did a mock book on 15700 which is the same cabin and it says 'bed by balcony' in NCL's description
15700 BD
