Cuba....unique itinerary right now.
-
If I get a free meal coupon at the local steak house I am still expected to leave the tip. No different.
If you have to purchase the package you pay its cost along with that same gratuity.
-
My bet is she booked a guarantee where the perks didn't attach. All the advertised perks she is mentioning is the ones which fall at the top of the scale for suites. If she picked UBP and SDP she would know it because she would have been assessed a sizable gratuity. If she booked without those gratuities she never selected the perks to begin with.

Yes....just tell the server. It isn't uncommon for people to visit restaurants and not use the SDP.

Bill in the mail? Are you serious?? How will Carnival recover dues from a cruiser in a foreign country through the mail?
What other option do they have? They can also try to make contact by phone.
-
What exactly did you want NCL to do? They documented a minor injury and attributed it to something beyond their control. It is what it is.

It sounds like you just do not understand the promo's. I have never heard of them offering 3.

Don't worry so much about location as it relates to motion no matter how many times it is repeated on here. Sure, being on higher decks or forward may slightly increase motion but it will not be perceivable. I have cruised for years with my wife who is very motion sensitive. When things get bad changing location does nothing. It isn't like you can be on deck 10 thinking 'this is rough' and then go to deck 3 and think 'this is much better'. It is a large ship with stabilizers, it doesn't ride the waves like a pontoon boat.

We went last cruise on the Paradise, Cheers covered whatever our selection was. It was held in the piano bar on a sea day.
-
Well that is disappointing. I used them for pretty much every Carnival cruise over the last few years and I had enough points built up to last for life. My last cruise I paid for everything from the fare, gratuities and Cheers with it; saved 10% across the board on the cruise.

I looked at the simulator using a Key West zip code....it will start at 1:25 EST and peak at 2:57. It will be an awesome event on a cruise ship.
In zip code 33040, you will see a partial solar eclipse.
The eclipse will peak at 2:56:57 pm EDT, when the moon obscures 71.3% of the sun.

Mine always posted the day we got off. I guess it depends on the bank, it could take a few days. There could have also been a problem processing the card and you get a bill in the mail.
-
Yes....they will place you where there is availability as they finalize the rosters.
-
....and you always have the classics.....rum and diet coke.....crown and diet sprite....vodka and diet ginger ale.

Joint account puts it in one pool.

Sugar free Rock Star has sucralose. I wouldn't consider that a desirable alternative to sugar.

.....and here we go:rolleyes:

Hmmm.....I have never been able to order a double. Single drinks every 5 minutes was the rule I was told.
I do routinely order a drink and start on it, especially the frozen ones, and follow up with a shot to pour in a few minutes later. Gives it a little extra kick and limits the amount of mixer you have to drink.

Great thread.

Just take a look by all the racks of luggage waiting to be fork lifted onto your next cruise and you may see a few of the paper ones scattered about.
Hmmmmm...never seen that. You make it sound common.
-
Not that it matters, but it's easy to tell "cabin glasses" as they don't give those glasses out at any of the bars (the cabin ones are quite large/wide, not your traditional looking wine glass - unless you're in a suite and have a selection of glasses). It just means that person has a cabin bar going :D
You do realize you can simply ask for wine glasses from your steward or any bar and they will provide them? No one is talking about drinking wine from the water glasses in the room.

This is nothing more than a contract renewal. If someone uses that to say they may 'pull out of Mobile' it is nothing but speculation.
-
I vote you won't notice any difference at all. I have been on many cruises with a wife that is very sensitive to motion. There has never been a spot on the ship that was 'better' when it started getting rough. It isn't like she feels the motion on 11 and then drop down to 5 and say "oh that is much better".
Repeating that the amount of motion felt is highly dependent on location is dramatically overrated and passed on as 'advice'.
-
I have folded and stapled on multiple bags for well over a dozen cruises with no problems at all.
If you wan't to buy them great but they are unnecessary.

It should work. Test it at home, sign in and download some shows, put it on airplane mode and see if you can view them without a connection.

General rule of pretty much every port I have been out of was 30 minutes after you enter open water.
