Asking for something simple like ice or a blanket is their job....not an extra service.

So one person dies who obviously had to land in a freak way when she fell over the decades at this attraction which seen hundreds of thousands of visitors. More people die daily from falling on sidewalks.

I would rather have a mature and respectful sharing of opposing perspectives rather than engaging in childish name-calling. Is that okay with you?
It isn't name calling....it is a description of one who makes it their mission to control other adults by limiting their choices away under the guise of something such as 'safety'.

As with any company that sells a vacation experience...it is a balance.
You want to draw new guests and make the past guests want to return. Both are separate focus groups, both just as important to the overall strategy.
-
LOL....here come the hand holders who think it is their duty to control what other people can do.

If you don't use all 15 in a day will they roll over to the next day?
No...it isn't a cell phone plan.

Horrible for her but it isn't like they didn't do everything possible to warn people.

Ditto.....no need to 'bribe' for a service not yet received..... and we have had EXCELLENT service on almost every cruise.....and for that we tip at the end of the cruise for the 'excellent services rendered' AFTER we have received them if warranted (which they usually are).
Same here. I have never been disappointed with our level of service. Clean room, fresh ice and always prompt with any other needs and I have never tipped on day 1.
-
Ice and extra pillows.
Also, I only tip at the end. If I have to bribe them to get the basic tasks done then their tip is destined to suffer anyway.

perhaps cc should set up a section for all threads that fit the category "here's why and how i'm going to break a rule; please pat me on the back for my ingenuity and ability to rationalize, please don't break any rules yourselves that might negatively impact me, and please don't respond if you don't agree with me."
the pattern is amazingly consistent and all such threads could be grouped together and easy to find when someone just wants to browse the site for the sake of being entertained.
Maybe cc could conduct a poll to see what to name the section. Some ideas might include:
*entitled cruisers
*it's my vacation
*my kids aren't your typical ___ year old kids
*i paid my money and expect the cruise line to abide by it's obligations but everything else is merely a suggestion.
Other ideas are welcome.

I would've been elated if my last cruise had skipped Nassau.

It has been listed for a long time.

No complaints from me especially since I can order another.

I've met many folks who love O'Sheehans. The Thai chili wings are awesome.
Why derail a good hyperbole filled bash? This little rant it setting itself up good.

Address on ID won't matter.

Call her from your cabin.
.....or avoid $1.99 per minute and use the cell phone they already have a wifi plan for.

Requirements still in place. We had to verbally declare last month to the agent.
-
Yup....very few have a raised seal anymore. As long as it has the official stamp on it is all that is required.
-
It is definitely the stacks from the engine room.
-
Yes....it will be fine. They will worry about the name/DOB and if it is was issued by a government agency.
-
Nope.

I have to ask.....if the package was 'unlimited' how many gallons of "Hennessey VSOP is $12, Patron Silver is $18, Grey Goose VX is $25" would you try to take home?
-
LOL....what?
It really isn't hard to get 'your monies worth'. Grab a morning latte, a bottle of water, a Poweraide, maybe a milkshake during the day and you are 4 liquor drinks away from not losing a dime.
I will never understand why anyone thinks they need to get to $15 to make it worth it. All it takes is simple math.

I vote for some signs....clearly labeled so reasonable adults take notice of the potential danger of course.
Maybe like this....
