  1. CK access is NOT a given for Pinnacles. Pinnacles were limited to just 2 dinners and no breakfasts (Lunch was a wait and see) on a recent Wonder cruise. Some ( either with more clout or louder whines) were able to be seated for dinner more often. WE didn't ask. M
  2. This is a benefit on Oasis/Quantum class for Pinnacle non suite guests? I've been of countless Oasis class cruises (as a P) and never knew of any benefit like this. The room service menu was the only option. I've never seen this benefit written in any of the on board welcome documents from the concierge or LA. If it was there. I certainly missed it for YEARS! Never knew of this option. Thanks M
  3. Windjammer is not on the main pool deck (15). It is on deck 16. There are some loungers on 16, but likely none in the shade. You might be able to make a platter from the Solarium Bistro and take it outside. Not sure about shade. A quick look at deck plans will explain the layout. M
  4. If you have concierge access (Suite or Diamond) ask him/her to assist and the end of the first week. Have a list ready with flexibility. M
  5. Sadly, something tells me rather than increase C&A benefits to compensate for the non Oasis/Quantum ships, they will simply eliminate them of the Oasis/Quantum class. What did you have in mind? M
  6. As noted, Harmony most often did not do the B2B lunch. If they do, it is likely the limited menu. We were recently B2B and skipped the B2B lunch in favor of specialty dining. Check the app to see what is open on boarding and pick your favorite. M
  7. On a recent sea day on Wonder all the below were open for lunch. We recently had the UDP and went to Hooked, Giovnni's, and Sushi for lunch during the week. We did not have a reservation for the sushi restaurant, but they were able to seat us at the sushi bar. Hooked Chops Giovanni's Izumi Habachi Izumi Suchi Playmanker Johnny Rockets Mason Jar ( Brunch) Enjoy
  8. This past December and January - Furniture on Jewel (especially couches in cabins) was frayed and torn. Overstuffed couch cushions were mis shappen. Balcony showed lots of rust. Carpet was frayed at seams in common areas and hallways. Hard chairs were worn down so much that the stain was worn off. Staff did the best they can to keep the ship clean, but it needs a major overhaul. M
  9. Love this post. Goes with the big tipper posts. M
  10. Yes - The bargain Christmas cruise this year. Everything has to be more money than that cruise! Sorry we will miss you on Mariner by about a week. We sail on the 15th. Have a great mariner cruise. M
  11. Ha Ha - I feel your pain (🙂) and just booked Grandeur (built in 1996) for a July cruise. So far, all our cruises this coming year are older ships. ( Mariner, Grandeur, Jewel, Adventure, Allure), Never been on Adventure so looking forward to it. Hope to see you before the Adventure cruise. M
  12. No, Harmony is not looking tired. Beautiful as ever. M
  13. Captain Rob Marcelo(sp) Cruise Director No problem at Coco Cay the past few cruises. We had one windy/rainy day but no docking issues. M
  14. I like that it is totally non smoking but it is small with limited machines both in number and variety. Most of the popular machines are in the regular casino. M
  15. There is a cage, (or at least there was on Wonder ) but it was rarely staffed. Transactions had to be made in the regular casino. M
  16. I always thought they were washed in a mesh bag, but they have to be dried outside of the bag and I guess that is why name tags are on my items. M
  17. There is a bar server(s) , but drinks take a while because there is no bar in there. The small casino is open the same hours of the regular casino. M
  18. On Wonder, small room, limited bar service, no cashier, limited machines and just a few tables (I think there was roulette and poker. Luckily the nonsmoking side of the regular casino was fairly smoke free, except near the border of smoking/non smoking. M
  19. AS mentioned, pack the bags. I've always moved the bags to the new cabin and let the crew move the hanging items. We usually speak with cabin attendant on the new cabin, and he/she will often try to clean your new cabin first. If it is not clean, they will usually allow us to out the suitcases in the closet. When we get back on board, we head straight to the new cabin and unpack. By then the hanging clothes are there as well. I either have tags for the newer cabin or most often just turn the old tags inside out and write the new cabin number, even if I intend to move the suitcases myself. Or pack teh bags and leave everything in the old cabin and the crew will more it for you M
  20. Don't how long "long" is for you. We send a few things out each week in the wash and fold bag ($35 or cheaper/complimentary with various crown and anchor level discounts) and yes, they will be hot washed and dried on high heat. Most often everything comes back just fine. We are taking T's, shorts, socks, men's swimsuits, men's underwear. There is a list of appropriate items for wash and fold. We recently had one rash guard come back stained, but a few washings at home with Oxy clean removed the discoloration spots. I may send a few items out for dry clean if the cruise in very long ( or B2B2B) and I want to wear the items several times. I've been successful with the individual laundry (not the bag) and items came back nicely pressed (slacks). I wash items in the sink or shower. Hang in cabin or balcony (near the glass door, not on a chair or near the rail) to dry. I bring Febreze and wrinkle release. Hope this helps.
  21. OP - just re-read your post. Am I understanding the B2B is more than the 7 night. I would NEVER take a 4/3 over a 7. And NEVER, NEVER for more money. You are better off paying for an extra photo and day of internet. $150 PP buys a lot m
  22. Not sure, but there was LOTS of discussion on CC as well as other social media pages. Plus while old the plan looked good on paper it was not really workable. Bars closed about 8:30am, had to be at B2B meeting about 9am. After that it was the new cruise and new day of vouchers. I did read of those who took 4 (5 or 6) beers/soda/water off the ship to take home so maybe that is one reason for the change. M
  23. Each aft elevator bank has elevators that go to 17 and 18. The inside glass elevators go up to 17 and 18, but the other elevators in each bank stop at 16. Sorry - I don't have a photo of the cabin or bathroom. M
  24. We always have internet and cell service (wifi calling). We cruise often and technology allows us to be away from home. Recently the ship WIFI has been horrible, even on Wonder. Slow, always getting knocked off, hard to understand phone calls. I hope it gets better. Our best result was to purchases a day on shore with our Verizon international pass. Only $10 a day and great service. M
