  1. The breakfast in available for suite guests and Pinnacle members. I don’t recall this as a perk for Diamond members. m
  2. Thank you for posting the information. I love the spin they put on this, I’ll give you a bottle of water, but you can no longer select a soda or beer if your C&A level permitted. Once again, a cut back on the higher (highest) tier passenger. Actually, we always had a 2 bottles of water each, as well as the welcome beverage. So now do we just get two bottles of water? If they are providing the cookies, I wish there was an opt out. Interestingly, the three items that I previously select are still on the list. Just a few weeks ago, they were “no longer available because of supply chain issues” and substituted with items of much lower quality.. But now all the sudden they are still on the list. Sailing shortly, so we’ll see what happens m
  3. According to my reservations documents, the original ship was Voyager then they switched the ship to Adventure. My cabin was moved from deck six hump to deck 9 forward. I never received an Adventure cruise receipt, just have the Voyager one. Not worth a call to muck things up. All the online information lists Adventure and the corresponding cabin. m
  4. Regular departures are generally around 8-9:00. The last cruising day you will receive a luggage tag that will provide a number corresponding to an expected departure time. If you want it earlier or later, you can go to Guest Service and try to get the tag switched. Most everyone is off the ship by 9 or 9:30. OP - You should have no issue with regular departure. m
  5. Yes, you can wear shorts and t-shirts to the D lounge. As far as I know all day, any day. I see lots worse. M
  6. I've ALWAYS had ice placed in the cabin by the cabin attendant when the room is serviced ( twice a day). M
  7. If I don't get any evening service ( I prefer morning service), I'll have to ask someone on board for ice. Any bar, windjammer or wherever there is a ice/water machine. M.
  8. Me too but only if it was a machine where the ice was dispensed. Not a machine with an ice bin. M
  9. I suspect little change between Jan 28 and Feb 25. Perhaps the staff will be more familiar with the menu. Whatever "cuts" were in place on Jan 28 will likely be in place for your upcoming cruise. Generally, management does not review and take notes from CC, in fact, many do not know the site exists. And I can say with good confidence that no one from the ship who might see a negative post on CC can make any sweeping change. Senior RCCL management is focusing on new cruisers. I hope you enjoy the cruise.
  10. Reprimanded for wearing shorts and flip flops? By whom? That is what most people wear all day. I've seen a lot worse. M
  11. You can get ice at various locations all day. (Dining room, any bar, WJ, ). We hope to have morning service but if ice is melted in the evening will just bring the ice bucket to dinner and ask for a refill. m
  12. Our recent departure was help up about an hour because of a launch. m
  13. If you want a towel critter and the staff still does them, there is no reason why they can’t do one with morning cleaning. M
  14. Look at it this way. You’ll get a variety of great benefits on your first Celebrity cruise. Even more benefits than those who have sailed Celebrity many times. m
  15. 1-yes 2-the concierge likely cannot help you with specific theater seating. Seating generally opens about 30 minutes prior to the show. You may enter them to try to get a seat close to the stage. The concierge can help you with issues that so that you won’t have to visit guest services, such as getting a new sea pass card. 3-all the benefits, including the drink vouchers are loaded on the sea pass account. On the cruise after you become diamond, you should receive a letter in your state room that explains all of your benefits, and information about the lounge. Be sure to read it. If your vision will not allow you to do so , please ask someone to read it to you so that you are aware of the benefits for Diamond members. Enjoy your Diamond benefits. m
  16. I would check it daily. Our entertainment for our March back to back opened five or six weeks prior. m
  17. A lovely benefit that we enjoy on Celebrity cruises. I think that is it great that there is a (partial) reciprocal) agreement for the two lines. On our first Celebrity cruise we had terrific Elite benefits, as a first timer on the line. ( We were D or D+ on RCCL when we took our first Celebrity cruise). Would be amazing if the reciprocation extended to Elite Plus and Zenith for D+ and Pinnacle, but no. M
  18. We booked the UDP because we didn't want to have to deal with long MDR lines or having to wonder if we would get reservations at CK. Now I'm reading that getting a specialty restaurant reservation mid evening is difficult as all the preferred times go to those purchasing individual dinners or to suite guests who (with the assistance of the suite concierge) can get a reservation ahead of time. UDP passengers get the times that are left. I thought the price was OK. $225 plus gratuity for a 7 night Oasis class ship. It fluctuates between $225 and $260 almost daily. It would be the first time with the dining package. I'm hoping that if we can't get reservations that suit us that we can get a refund for the package. M
  19. You get the set of “elite” benefits on Celebrity. They are not identical to RCCL. Look at the Celebrity website for the list elite benefits. m
  20. The cruise experience is quite different than 7 years ago. Lots of info on CC and other social media. If you are speaking covid related ----. There is no testing, no social distancing, no limits to elevators, self serve at buffet. Those who want to wear a mask do, and others don't. Most don't. Some staff/crew will wear a mask. Thankfully can't answer for the current protocol if you or a member of your party is diagnosed with Covid. The only way to be diagnosed it to self report any illness to medical and then be tested. good luck (Edited to fix an accidently incorrect statement.)
  21. Give D+ access to the suite lounge? Are you aware that on many sailings Pinnacle members don't even have access to the suite/concierge lounge. M
  22. While I prefer a smoke free environment, the actual machines (variety/type/how many/denomination, etc.) they place in there will determine if I use the venue. M
