I find it crazy to waste 5 clean cups to fill up my 35 ounce wide mouth yeti when nothing is coming close to touching anything. And I have no trips planned, but thanks.

I use the same cup. I have a giant yeti so the cups never come close to touching.

I recently saw a great photo on a BU parents page of a young adult carrying a full sized mattress getting on the T.

It would really help if you give us their ages. Some lines/ships have nurseries for kids under 2 or 3, some do not. The only lines that have splash areas for diapered kids are DCL and some RCL ships, none have any pools that allow kids in swim diapers. Some lines/ships are better options with young kids.

I have 5 kids, and have put them in kids clubs on many vacations, heck I use to belong to gyms with free childcare just for a break (SAHM). However, parents really should make sure they can be reached and get to the kids club in a reasonable amount of time, in case the child is sick (I’ve had that happen twice), has an accident, or just wants to leave (this isn’t paid daycare). I could see leaving older teens if they really didn’t want yo get off of the ship (my kids always wanted to get off).

You don’t need a pass for the casino, but do need one for almost everything else (beach, waterpark, aquarium, walking anywhere except marina village/casino).

I see this often with divorced friends and family. My sister doesn’t need to work, in her early 50’s, children are almost all adults, had a couple of good relationships but she loves to travel and is done with being a soccer mom, guys with younger kids are in another phase in life. Another friend still has a 12 year old at home, boyfriend has never been married or had kids, there is a lot he just doesn’t get. It’s easier if you are starting from a similar place.

Wow that stinks, they were amazing on the jewel, gem and breakaway, my daughter loved everything. We even ate in the buffet for breakfast, hee tray was delivered to our table.

I’m married, but if not I wouldn’t even introduce my child to someone in that short time period, and would be surprised I’d be asked to vacation with someone I’ve only known 4 months, never mind bringing my child and taking him out of school! Why in the world would this situation cause a breakup on your part?

We are local and my family Ubers a lot, you probably had a one off. Taxi’s have been horrible here forever, I remember before Uber I would beg my husband to take a car service to the airport, 20 minutes away. Instead we’d take a cab with a metal ceiling and no a/c.

NCL is great, let them know ahead of time and someone will meet with you on embarkment lunch. My daughter ordered dinner and breakfast ahead of time, just gave a call when she was heading to eat to let them know where she would be. So many options!

Big difference, I’m somewhat local and would choose jersey city, we live about 10 miles away and my son and girlfriend stayed there just for a nice date night into the city. My adult kids always go to Hoboken, my 22 year old took a train there with friends last night.

We’ve never alerted anyone when we went to lunch the first day, they just showed up at our table. 4 different NCL ships and never had a bad experience. Omg the platter of food they brought to my daughter for breakfast (in the buffet) was incredible. I don’t think she ever ate better.

You can order meals ahead of time and have them brought to any restaurant. My daughter ordered breakfast and dinner the night before, just called down when she was heading to eat and let him know where. They do a wonderful job.
