It hasn't been offered for our October cruise, guessing it's because there are too many diamond and platinum passengers. Doesn't stop me from checking multiple times a day!

No, on your sign and sail card. I'm a casino player, so I get cruise cash so I don't have to carry as much cash.

I'm always concerned when I see minors running around alone. There are plenty of reports of sexual assaults on ships. Parents seem to forget predators are everywhere.

Faster to the fun priority boarding
pinklucky61 replied to Eswheeler1992's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
I had FTTF on Glory last month in NOLA. There is a separate line at entrance to building, just show them your boarding pass with FTTF showing. We were directed to sit with general boarding, but were called after the other priority boarders. They checked boarding pass several times when we got into boarding line. BTW- also self-disembarked. Meeting time was 7:15am, I was out of terminal before higher priority people since I took escalator instead of elevators. Was at my shuttle bus by 7. very fast and easy with facial recognition. -
I had FTTF for my April cruise on Glory out of NOLA. I'm definitely glad I got it. For some reason they didn't separate boarding passengers by priority, just had everyone sit in rows according to port arrival. We separated when they called FTTF after platinums, diamonds & suites (not in that order). I self-disembarked. Meeting time was 7:15am, I was in parking garage shuttle (Fulton Garage) by 7. Have a cruise booked for October out of Mobile, live an hour away, so probably won't bother with FTTF. Don't forget that FTTF is also helpful in priority MDR requests too.

There always seemed to be open tables in the shaded area of pool.

I didn't know about Starlink, good to know, I got internet plan to keep in touch. I'll be onboard with Sparks1093. Will be my 2nd time on Glory as well, happy about this, being my first solo cruise.

Boarding time question for a group
pinklucky61 replied to skywalkr2's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
Earlier boarders can claim a good spot to wait for cabins to open for both groups! -
I was surprised when I saw the price, not bad.

I've given up trying to input my other cruises in app, it doesn't remember them. Good thing I'm usually only interested in the one coming up!

First formal night is usually first sea day in my experience.

I would hope April Fool's joke! Image the cost of posting a crew member there.

Glory April 2-9, 2023. Spring Break - What were we thinking?
pinklucky61 replied to tcmagnum's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
Btw, if you happen to notice port arrival times for FTTF and if they're allowing early arrival for them, please let us know. I purchased FTTF for my cruise. I expect to get a fairly early time by staying up late tonight for check-in, but who knows! -
I get a lot of casino deals offering "drinks on us" while playing in casino. Some people get drinks everywhere casino deals which is same as Cheers. I'm a low betting player.

I looked into prepaying for parking just a few days ago, but wasn't able to do it. Think the website not up-to-date.

Glory April 2-9, 2023. Spring Break - What were we thinking?
pinklucky61 replied to tcmagnum's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
I'll be getting on Glory the 16th. Usually go in the spring and I've never been bothered by spring breakers. Except for embarkation and debarkation, everyone usually pretty spread out around the ship. In my 60's btw. Have a great trip, good luck in the casino! -
A delayed and short Paradise report with Covid

Maybe they are trying to keep their covid numbers down by charging for the test? -
Main Dining Table Assignments for Group
pinklucky61 replied to awhitleycrew's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
If you want to make sure everything set after doing as previously suggested, go see the matre d on boarding day. Where and when to see them will be posted in funtimes or app. -
You should let them know that they won't get cash out of slot machines if they're using players card (sign&sail card). In that case, it will stay on card in player's casino bank, which can be cashed out at cashiers window.

Great review! Safe travels home! -
Do like a lot of people and pour in your cabin and bring with you. You can request wine glasses at most bars if none in your cabin.
