  1. Looks like the Eclipse Canada/NE 2024 sailings are now available to book; however, the repo cruise from Boston to Florida is not. Ugghhhhh. The waiting is killing me!
  2. I am patiently waiting for the repo from Boston in Oct. 2024 to become available. I am hoping that they list it tomorrow so I can book it. I did not know it was going to FLL though. That's AWESOME! We did the Summit fall repo cruise this year and LOVED only having to fly home as Boston is a 45 min. drive for us.
  3. I do log in with my laptop. Nothing showing except one shore excursion in Bonaire to book.
  4. We're booked on the Adventure OTS (originally it was Voyager OTS, but ships got switched) out of Port Canaveral for 3/1/24. Only one shore excursion is available to reserve for Bonaire....no others at any port, nor drink pkg. or dining reservations for specialty restaurants. Approximately, how far out from embarkation does RCL usually have these items available to reserve?
  5. We have on board credit from Holland, plus obc for shareholders, plus obc for military, plus onboard credit from gift certificates. What can't it be used for? I believe I have read in the past that it cannot be used for daily gratuities or in the casino. Is that correct?
  6. I did end up calling NCL and was advised that in order to have the military discount applied, we would have had to initially book after Nov. 1st of this year. I wouldn't cancel and rebook because the current price is much much higher than when we booked.
  7. I thought I would ask here before calling, just in case anybody else has done already done this. Enrolled on ID.me already.
  8. We booked a cruise in June 2021 for an August 2023 sailing. Recently, NCL states that you can get a military discount. Does anybody know if this discount can be applied to what we paid, or would we have to refare it to the current rate in order to have the discount applied?
  9. I agree...........it's worth it just not having the hastle to have to sign. I totally forgot about that. Thanks everyone!
  10. Here's my dilemma. I may have a couple martinis at the martini bar in the evening, and perhaps a couple or a few (2 to 4 mixed drinks) during the day.........I do not do this every day, but there may be a few days that I do imbibe. Titos and Absolute give me a headache for some reason, even after one drink. I don't know why. I am not a vodka snob, as at home, I drink Skyy which I do not ever get a headache from. But if my recollection is correct, on our Summit cruise this Oct., which I had the premium package on, I did not see Skyy vodka on the shelves at the bar. Also, I am elite, so I know I get a discount and my daily charge, should I upgrade, and it will cost approx. $14 a day now since Celebrity recently raised their prices to upgrade. Just trying to figure out the break even point to see if it's worth $14 a day.
  11. Hi everyone. I'm trying to decide whether or not to upgrade our Classic beverage pkg. Does anyone know the actual cost difference from a mixed drink made with Titos or Absolute to one made with Grey Goose or Ciroc vodka?
  12. I agree. So, I held 1/15/24 on Celebrity Silhouette. NICE itinerary - St. Maarten, Tobago, Dominica, Barbados and Antigua out of FLL.
  13. Been to the ABC islands twice. I would pick Aruba or Curacao for my beach day. We like to get dropped off near DePalm Pier in Aruba. In Bonaire, either rent a golf cart and explore the island......go to Sorobon Beach and have lunch/drinks and watch the windsurfing. Or if you snorkel, definitely go on a snorkeling excursion while there.
  14. Is obc from ccl stock ownership and obc from military obc refundable or non-refundable? Thanks.
  15. The food in the main dining room was very good on the Voyager this September and on the Summit this Oct. I found the food better in the buffet on the Summit, although it was good on the Voyager. I also found our lunch in Chops on the Voyager, specifically the filet mignon, better than when we had dinner in the Tuscan Grille on the Summit.
  16. Have your agent send you the guest confirmation from Celebrity. It will be on there.
  17. Actually, the Summit left Boston on Oct. 15th this year and it was a 12 night cruise.
  18. I, too, am awaiting the repo cruise from Celebrity for the fall of 2024 out of Boston which should be on the Eclipse I believe. LOVED our repo cruise on the Summit this year!!
  19. So happy to hear that the musicians are fantastic on Nieuw Statendam. We will be cruising on her in January!!! 🙂
  20. I feel your pain. We are booked on Nieuw Statendam for 1/14 and the main reason I booked it was because of the stop in Key West. LOVE Key West. However, we also received an email yesterday that we are no longer stopping there and instead are going to Nassau. We will just stay on the ship most likely.
  21. I have stayed at the Sonesta numerous times, even for our land vacations. It's wonderful! Across the street from the beach! Right around the corner is Primantis Pizza, open 24 hours a day.....very good pizza and breakfasts - reasonably priced. There is also a Mexican restaurant right near the hotel. In back of the hotel is a bar (The Parrot Lounge) which has food too....think pub food (fish and chips, sandwiches, etc.) very reasonably priced. If you walk up the road about .7 miles, there is the Galleria Mall and the Capital Grille which is excellent. This year, we're cruising in Jan., and the Sonesta was way more than what we are willing to pay for the night prior. We ended up booking the Riverside in Las Olas area on Hotwire for about $180 (plus taxes).
  22. Someone please correct me if I am mistaken, as I have not yet sailed, but am booked in a club balcony on the Pearl for Aug. From looking at videos and pictures, it seems there is more conveniently located storage for clothes in the club balcony cabins as storage is in the main part of the stateroom, as opposed to being across from the bathroom in the hallway part.
