Snorkel Park is an easy walk from the ship. I believe they are charging $15 pp to get in nowadays. Bermuda Snorkel Park Beach Club -Dockyards .Club Aqua Best Beach #bermuda #beach - Bing video
Once on board, go visit the maitre'd in the main dining room and have everyone's room # with you to arrange to seat together. They are most accommodating.
I read on another board that NCL is charging the gratuities to your on board account for every drink that you get when you have the free at sea drink pkg. We've been on NCL many times, and this has not been the case. Has this changed or perhaps the person that reported this was on Pride of America Hawaii cruise.
We were on the ship that day too. I remember they delayed sailaway due to so many passengers arriving late. Ship's crew were making snowangels and enjoying seeing the snow. They didn't enjoy having to shovel the snow later on though. It was a spectacular day and wonderful, but short cruise to nowhere.
I'm holding a cabin for Oct. for a NE/Canada cruise - 5 nighter. We are diamond, so I know we each get 4 complimentary drinks a day. Can someone tell me what the cost of a regular mixed drink, such as rum coke, would cost, and also what the cost of a martini, such as a cosmo or espresso martini cost? Thanks in advance.
We're cruising in 10 days on Nieuw Statendam and we finally received our boarding assignment of "C" which states 11:45 a.m. We cruised on the Rotterdam this past March and had group A. I remember it took about 2 1/2 hours to get on board. Longest we have ever waited. I definitely do not want a repeat of that. I believe we'll arrive around 12:30 so hopefully the majority of people will have already boarded. But my question is, how many boarding assignment letters are there? A - ? ??
I'm currently booked on one of those near the elevator on Nieuw Statendam for our cruise 1/14 on Deck 8. I want to change it to an oceanview, but the upsell desk currently is only offering me balcony upgrades and Vista upgrades e at a price point I don't want to pay. I'm going to keep calling, once a week, and see if their price goes down to upgrade to one of those or if they are offering upgrades to oceanviews. What I don't like about the cabin is the sofa on the side of the bed. It seems too close. And the tv is above the sofa not in front of the bottom of the beds.
We're cruising on the Nieuw Statendam in Jan. If we accept an upsell, do we get to keep all our current perks, including OBC that we have from stock ownership, and veterans obc, as well as our original OBC from Holland? Will we keep the same reservation number, or will we get assigned a new one and have to rebook our specialty dining and shore excursions?
I recently dined for dinner in the Tuscan Grille in Oct. on the Summit repo cruise. I wasn't thrilled with it. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't outstanding. I had just had lunch in September at Chops on the Voyager. Tuscan Grille did not compare. Chops was so much better, at least, I thought so.
I have a cruise for the middle of Jan. Already mostly packed, but I always take more dressier clothes than I need and I will go through the luggage and take most out. Really only need two dressy outfits. Many people are dressing much more casually in the dining rooms nowadays.
I was on the Summit repo cruise in Oct. One night there were lobster tails in the dining room for dinner. No extra charge. A day after that, there were tons of lobster tails in the buffet during lunch. You should have seen the line of people getting two of three of them each! They were delicious, and I'm from Massachusetts.
