  1. 59 days and our November TA on the Regal opened up this morning.
  2. I just live chatted with Princess and the agent confirmed that our November TA from Rome no longer requires testing.
  3. Well that certainly does look like a change. We're on a TA on the Regal leaving from Rome in November and were expecting to have to test. But maybe not...?
  4. Thank you so much for this. We want to do this exact route on a Sunday in November and this lets me know exactly what we need to do. I'll also email you for your document with the sights, if you don't mind.
  5. The "Upgrade Terms and Conditions" say bidding starts five days after final payment and ends three days before sailing, so October and November sailings should be included. We're on the Regal Nov. 17 and the cruise is not sold out, so I'm watching for an email. Bidding Period and Availability: PCL shall determine, in its sole and absolute discretion, the Eligible Cruises that will be available for the Program. For each Eligible Cruise, upgrade Bidding will be available for Guests starting five (5) days after such Cruise's final payment date and ending three (3) day before the Cruise's departure date (the "Bidding Period"). Guests must have made final payment on the Cruise by the Cruise's final payment date in order to submit a Bid.
  6. Mine seems to be working again. I was just able to access the payment screen.
  7. I’m having problems too. As of this morning, I can’t access the payment screen in the personalizer for any of my bookings. Thank goodness I don’t have a final payment due. I only realized it because one of my booked cruises went way up in price (and I mean WAY up) so I wanted to double check to make sure there were no problems with my booking. I freaked out at first when I couldn’t get to the payment screen and have to say I’m relieved to see it’s a website issue.
  8. I thought about taking a cab from Villa d'Este to Adriano. Would we have to take a cab back to d'Este to catch the bus or train back to Rome? Or could we get a bus from Adriano directly back to Rome? Thanks.
  9. We'll be in Rome for a week in November prior to boarding a transatlantic. We want to spend one of our days in Tivoli, mostly to visit Villa d'Este but also Hadrian's Villa if we can figure out how to get between the two. I've tried to research the best way to get to Tivoli, but some websites say the bus and others say the train... Can someone who's done it let me know if the bus or the train is better to get to Tivoli. We thought about taking a tour to simplify things but they limit the time spent at the villas and we'd rather wander as long as we want. If including Hadrian's Villa adds too much confusion, we're happy to just stick to Villa d'Este. TIA.
  10. Can you still purchase internet on embarkation day for the pre-cruise price? Or once you step foot on the ship, is the price already increased?
  11. We were also on the 2019 voyage. For the Greenland ports, unless you are on a ship excursion, my advice is to get up and down to the tender meeting place as early as it opens. We did that and had no problems getting ashore. Passengers who waited an hour or so faced huge lines and some never even made it ashore. With that said, we loved Greenland and it was well worth getting up early. Have a great time!
  12. Looks like they just updated it again to say UK but not EU: Unless otherwise communicated, all guests ages five and older must take a viral COVID-19 test (PCR or antigen) within three days prior to embarkation on the ship. This can be done at any time in the three days before on the day of embarkation. Guests no longer need to provide a test certificate, however they will be asked to confirm that the test has been taken, with a negative result, as part of the pre-boarding health declaration at the cruise terminal/airport. Guests under five years of age are exempt from pre-cruise testing. (Please note that these updated guidelines apply to the UK but not to the U.S., Canada or EU).
  13. FWIW, I spoke to my PVP earlier this afternoon and asked if she had heard of any changes coming up to the testing policy. She indicated that they had been told that the current policy will remain in effect through September but there are likely to be revisions after that. She didn't know what exactly, ie short cruises, longer cruises or whatever. But it seemed from her wording that they had been told that changes are in the works, but that Princess is playing it safe and taking its time.
  14. I haven't heard this but things are starting to change. Carnival announced today that Covid tests are no longer needed for cruises 5 nights or less. And that other changes are coming. I imagine Princess will follow suit pretty quickly.
  15. I live chatted with Princess a few days ago with a similar question. Leaving on a TA from Rome on a Thursday, and the agent said we could test at any time starting on Monday. She said anytime within 3 days is allowed. If I were you I'd contact Princess again to verify.
  16. I did find this, and it indicates that the regular bus will be running in November: Lines - Ajaccio - MyBus
  17. Does anyone have any ideas or information for a visit in November? We're stopping there on a TA from Rome and from what I've found, basically all tours, boats, little train, etc, stop running at the end of October. I have looked at the Ajaccia tourism website. Does anyone have a link to the public bus information? Maybe we could take that down the coast.
  18. I finally got it this morning. I don't know why it took until the 19th to get a confirmation for payment that posted on the 12th, but I have it now so I'm happy.
  19. I've been trying to get a final confirmation for a tour that I paid for a week ago, with no response. I used their payment link, the payment posted to my credit card, and...crickets. When I originally emailed them to enquire about the tour, I got a response saying basically "we're busy, unprecedented demand, we'll answer when we can, etc" and then got an email with a reservation and payment link a couple of days later. The email promised a final confirmation within two business days after payment. I've emailed them twice to say I've paid and please send final confirmation. How long did it take you guys to get tour confirmation after payment?
  20. Which hotel did you choose? I'm currently looking and would like to find one like this. Thanks
  21. Interesting...I asked if it was necessary to come in and they said yes, I had to physically bring the new passports. But we do have an enrollment site at our airport in Cleveland so maybe that is why. I would have much preferred to do it online!
  22. We just renewed ours late last year and it was quick and easy. But a related note, if you renew your passport, be sure to take the new passport in to the enrollment center so they can attach it to your account. You don't need an appointment to do this and it takes only a minute or two. But your new passport needs to be scanned into their system in order for it to work at the airport.
  23. Were your cruises after final payment date when you got these refunds?
  24. Funny, she is my "ex TA" as well. After a less-than-stellar experience with that TA a few years ago, I started using my PVP and have never looked back.
  25. It has more to do with the number of passengers that would inundate the island, rather than the physical size of the ship. They want to limit it to 1200 passengers per day. In that case tendering in wouldn't make any difference...
