  1. Hi Ella, I guess the cruise has finished now. Will you be posting your final thoughts on the ship and Singapore? Looking forward to our visit next month Thanks again for doing the review, as you said there's very little about Spectrum on CC
  2. I have an A34, Samsung buds, smart watch, and pad. Very Happy with them, my second Samsung phone. Great photos, does everything I want and only £29 a month on a two year contract. Works for me. Yesterday we bought a Samsung microwave and have a Samsung TV
  3. Sounds great Debbie. Ours is a coastal cruiser and only 29' so you should have plenty of room. How many people will be on board?
  4. There's usually a water package in the planner. I purchased it for under £19 in a sale for 12 x 1litre bottles of Evian, though its more now. Nice to have it waiting for you in your state room
  5. On one of the you tube blogs they said there was quite a lot of enrichment lectures. I know they've had these on transatlantics and I've usually enjoyed them in the past
  6. How is the food on board? I'm hoping for a good stir fry station in the buffet. As its only four nights we're not doing any specialist restaurants when we cruise next month
  7. I seem to of somehow skipped some pages so I hope everyone is well. Wishing everyone on Dani's thread a Very Happy New Year and wishing for peace, happiness and healing for our World 🌎 🙏
  8. There's an awful lot of ports, though I admit i don't think I could stay on a ship for longer than 3 weeks max
  9. You don't have to have a drink package. Just pay as you go. There's lots of free non alcoholic drink options, tea, coffee, iced water, flavoured waters, hot chocolate. Plus you can bring one bottle wine per adult on board. When we first started cruising they had a wine and beer package which was a reasonable cost. We've only had full drink package once when it was included in the price (Different cruiseline).
  10. Some of the European sectors are almost sold out. Just a handful of cabins available. Will be interesting to see how busy the next quarter is. You can still buy the mini sectors. Other cruise lines do annual world cruises, so never say never Thanks for all the updates @island lady As I dont do the other social media sites its great you're doing this on CC
  11. Thank you to all wonderful nurses doctors and emergency staff who work during the holidays keeping us safe 🙏
  12. Thank you Fiona, I've made a note on the calendar to try the day before
  13. Wishing all the regular contributers to Dani's thread a belated Very Merry Christmas. It's been a busy and thoroughly enjoyable Christmas, but today we only have our sons crazy dog to look after so we can relax and enjoy a long walk. Dani, @dani negreanu thinking of you and yours during this time of peace and hope 🙏
  14. An interesting article which mentions MSC diverting its eastbound World cruise January suez transit around Africa https://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/cruises/articles/what-red-sea-attacks-suez-canal-could-mean-cruise-holidays/
  15. Looking forward to hearing about Singapore and your cruise. We've tacked on a short cruise onto our Singapore trip in a few months and will be doing similar ports
  16. Which time zone, Ken? Miami? If so here in Europe that would be around 5am, or is it midnight where the cruise starts? Our next cruise starts from Singapore, so does that make a difference? Thanks
  17. Thank you, I am blessed. Currently babysitting the youngest overnight whilst mum n dad enjoy a night out on the town
  18. Beautiful table Graham. You and Pauline are more organized than me. I was in the supermarket at 7.30 today buying the vegetables and all the extras for Christmas. Just finished wrapping presents. Taking a break before a quick clean through before our youngest g/son arrives for a sleep over. Still got the ham to cook and chocolate log to bake . Yesterday evening we had Carol singing in our street which was fun
  19. Crib service was very special. 'Away in a Manager' always makes me well up. The kids looked cute (and warm)in their onesie
  20. Son and partner flew back from NY on Sunday night. I was worried the bad weather on the east coast might delay them but they left on time. We've had an awful lot of grandparent duties this week and last. Today collecting Isaac to take to the navity service at our church. My other DIL is also going with our youngest grandson. They've both got sheep onesie's to wear
  21. Just catching up now. Sorry your first week got off to such a bad start with your g/daughter's docs and your daughter being so ill. I hope she and the cruise improved and that you all had a good time. Looking forward to hearing more Sue
