We either do that or use hand sanitizer. We also bring food-service grade gloves for the buffet because the utensils are probably the dirtiest things on the ship.
Maybe true in the U.S., but not here in Canada. We get them all as part of our basic cable package. Depending on where Celebrity sources their TV, they may not have an issue.
When we had the back-to-back where we got to E+ after the first, the CC host had no problem with us or anyone else in the same boat (no pun intended) getting new status on the second cruise. Just goes to show that some employees are customer-focused and some are not.
Where is this "rule" defined?
Not true, since points for a cruise don't post until after the cruise is completed. Power-Up points are a special case that can cause you to be bumped during a cruise, though booking multiple cruises in close proximity could make it happen as well as the points for the first cruise could post during the second cruise. (Back-to-back is also a special case where they will actually give you benefits before your points actually post.)
If you go to the loyalty desk and prove your higher status, they may give you the benefits (at their discretion). They're generally pretty accommodating.
Which makes no sense to me, as the UK has some great beers. My favourite is Old Speckled Hen. (Though I'm particularly fond of Dunkelweizen, which can be terribly hard to find.)
We have nine cruises booked this year with only one on Celebrity. We'll be first-timers on MSC and AmaWaterways, and repeat customers on two Princess and four Cunard cruises. Next year is currently two Celebrity, two Princess, and two P&O (first time for that one). All the Celebrity cruises were booked before the massive devaluations of the past few months.
Misuse of reflexive pronouns is one of my pet peeves...
Though the worst is people who type/say "should of", "could of", and "would of" instead of "should have", "could have", and "would have" (or "should've", "could've", and "would've").
