  1. Just go to AA.com and see if you can bring up the reservation. Some airlines allow you to see the booking as soon as it is made, and some require payment first.
  2. I would not consider any of those to be beer. Based on the menu shown, Newcastle on tap is the clear winner.
  3. At one point, my official title at work was Software Thaumaturge.
  4. My crystal ball says there will be more in the future.
  5. Still not worth the price. Do you really think Sizzler (the closest approximation to Tuscan I can think of) is better than Luminae?
  6. You're better off not using any water. Bottled water is not good for the machine.
  7. You won't enjoy it, especially since you're from Texas. They're masters of overcooking.
  8. Qsine was the best specialty restaurant better before LPC.
  9. Sounds like the best possible feature we could ask for! I'm there!
  10. Kauai is definitely the best. 2-3 days in Oahu is more than enough. And be sure to get away from Waikiki - it gets old really fast.
  11. You could also ask the maitre d' at the MDR, but the specialty restaurants will be less crowded.
  12. Yep, you found the right one! (Though I also have a full set of white tails, too.)
  13. Booking AC through the U.S. site or the Canadian site yield slightly different prices based on which conversion rate they're using at the time. It's typically on a couple of dollars different, but there can be substantial differences if foreign exchange is particularly volatile. I generally use the U.S site primarily because it's far more advantageous to use my U.S. credit card and I don't have to worry about arbitrage in the case of a cancellation or refund.
  14. What happens is that FbC is based in the U.S., so that's the point-of-sale (PoS) as far as Air Canada is concerned. FbC than uses its own conversion and charges the passenger in CAD for the flight only. All ancillaries are paid directly to Air Canada and are thus based on Air Canada's PoS.
  15. Dancing. I always bring our music selection and Bluetooth speaker. There are some great hidden (and some not-so-hidden) areas that make for good dancing during the day if the regular locations are in use.
  16. Celebrity is the worst we've experienced. Maybe all the U.S. mass market cruise lines, but not all the cruise lines. That was probably the single best thing about our Silversea cruise last year - no muzak at all. And I don't recall any issues on Cunard either.
  17. We were not impressed by Tahiti. Moorea, on the other hand, was a highlight. We haven't made it to Bora Bora.
  18. Your Guarantee will most likely result in a Sky Suite. The only way you'd get something higher would be if nobody bids on them and the Sky Suites are filled up.
  19. Princess used to do that (fully refundable), but axed it not too long ago.
  20. The constant noise is my single biggest issue with Celebrity. A times, the "music" in the hallways gets so loud you can't even have a conversation in your own cabin.
  21. And on many ships it's full of ice chips since they don't have good freezers. The gelato would be worth more than all the blue benefits (which would equate to the level where you earn the benefit) if the freezers are working. As for the higher levels, you get what you pay (through the nose) for.
