  1. When I was at Miami this past Spring the traffic police were not allowing Uber to pick up people at the pick up point only Taxis. When we arrived at MIA the TSA line had about a 40 minute wait.
  2. The ship will not allow b-2-b passengers to be processed for the next cruise until they have a zero count which is around 9/10 a.m.
  3. Formal nights are a thing of the past, dress the way that makes you happy.
  4. I was on the Symphony for a b-2-b last year, my guess is the room holds about 100 passengers and at times the place gets crowded.
  5. I did a b-3-b on the Harmony this past May as a solo and ate about half my meals in the Windjammer. As a frequent cruise I noticed a lot of cut backs, basically the food selection was somewhat limited and the same each night, good but limited.
  6. Better dining experience, where men don't wear hats, shorts, wife beater t-shirts, and a higher grade of food. I remember going on a cruise and looking forward to eating in the MDR, good eats and a great menu, now going to the MDR is like going to an inexpensive all you can eat place.
  7. Thanks for the heads up, I was considering booking this same cruise.
  8. The cabin cleaning reduction is just a part of the lessening of the cruise experience, which I don't like.
  9. I was on the Harmony for three weeks in May and there were no chips in the Park Cafe.
  10. Doable but stress full, when I flew to Atlanta last month taxis got priority over Uber and the line for TSA took 40 minutes to clear.
  11. I was recently on the Harmony and the actor playing Rios was great.
  12. I recently did a b-3-b on the Harmony and if you wish to see the play again the guard at the door leaves promptly 10 minutes after the show starts.
  13. If you are taking food on board you should place them in your carry on, otherwise you could wind up in the naughty room
  14. Two months I booked a tour for $59.00, last week the same tour cost $89.00.
  15. Happy you are having a great cruise, if you haven't been to CoCo Cay don't miss the shows at 11 & 2.
  16. After further inquiry I was informed that the Captain visits the Diamond Club several times a week with members of his staff, and yes they do follow up on issues brought to their attention. In my case not only did I get a great steak, I was surprised with a birthday cake (with a candle) and the section singing Happy Birthday, additionally a bottle of sparkling wine was sent to my cabin.
  17. All in all had a great time with a few bumps along the way, week 1 and 3rd had a great wait staff, week 2 not so good, cold food and slow service, moved to the Windjammer after complaining to Head Waiter without results. At the end of week 2 the Captain and several of his officers paid a visit to the Diamond Club, the head of Food and Beverage asked how we were enjoying our cruise, boy did he get a ear full from our group, good news I got comped for a steak dinner. Everyone else had a complaint about the food in the specialty restaurants. After 3 weeks on the ship you really start to notice the cut backs, i.e. Park Cafe no chips, limited sandwiches and deserts, Windjammer, I could write several paragraphs on that, the 24 hour cafe has about 1/2 the offerings, you are getting the idea. As you know the MDR has a new menu, food items are good but if you are not into the night's offering you are out of luck. More later, please feel free to ask questions.
  18. Just returned from 3 weeks on Harmony, the cabins were available between 1:30/2:00. RCL did a great job getting the luggage quickly to your cabin and it was delivered to your cabin not in one area.
  19. Not only have prices gone up on Harmony, but the quality has gone down.
  20. Just finished week 2, good weather, and entertainment, food is getting a little iffy with all the backs. This week I plan to try some pay restaurants. Mario has set up an office on deck15 next to the smoking area, he has a name plaque, and a few plants on his table. More later.
  21. Just back from the Quest all new and improved, saw Columbus earlier tonight good but not great. Tomorrow is CoCo Cay, received info for passengers staying on, yeah no luggage tags, also spoke to Mario today. Good night.
  22. I'm on the Harmony doing a B-3-B and I'm at the end of the first week, having a great cruise with great weather. I plan to do a review when I return home, but please feel free ask any questions you may have about the cruise. But I do have a few thought about this cruise, if you should have a cabin close to Dazzles especially cabins over looking Central Park, don't plan on sleeping before 12:30, the band is loud. There are members of the big eaters club on board, when they show up at Sorento's for pizza they are ask how many, pies not slices. Also, there a a few large groups traveling together, the other day I was waiting for an elevator car and out came two dozen passengers, reminded of a clown car at the circus where a dozens clowns pile out. The food has been surprising good with lots of choices in the Windjammer, ship is very clean, and the help has been fantasist. More later.
  23. When we ate in chops I thought the tables were to close together, felt like we were sitting at a 4 top.
  24. Saw the video, except for the cold food I thought they were spot on after sailing the Symphony and the Voyager.
