  1. It's good to hear you made it on board, thanks for posting and have a great trip.
  2. Looks like today is going to be a difficult day in Brooklyn. Good luck everyone, I hope your luggage is OK @bitob.
  3. It sounds like the rain is causing problems, good luck and stay safe.
  4. There are pictures of Daily Programmes from Queen Elizabeth's Alaska season this year in this thread which will give you some ideas.
  5. A rare sunrise from me, arriving in Valencia 28th September 2022
  6. My pleasure, the photo was taken by a friend onboard an MSC ship in Livorno today.
  7. Queen Elizabeth is in Livorno today
  8. A sunset, as September 27th 2022 was a sea day on Queen Victoria
  9. From the Cunard website- We will make every effort to meet your dietary requests for low-sodium, low-fat, low-sugar, lactose intolerance, dairy free, gluten free, wheat free and vegetarian diets. However, please be aware that our chefs are not medically trained. 10. See here for a recent thread
  11. There's also the ease of embarkation, reports from Brooklyn have not always been positive.
  12. I've been to Tangier on Queen Victoria, November 2015.
  13. Thank you for confirming that your original post was wrong, as @exlondoner has said you are probably still wrong about bread on most Cunard cruises. Queen Elizabeth has been away from the UK for a while now so they might be using flour from America there.
  14. I have moved your question to a new thread where you will get more answers. If you have the time I would sail both ways but others may have more practical suggestions!
  15. Thank you @DaisyUK, it's lovely to hear that she's still at sea, she helped make our first cruise very special. I hope you've had a great time.
  16. Have a great time, I look forward to hearing about it
  17. How terrible, I hope you complained.🤣
  18. It is an opinion but it's being posted as if it's a fact and with no detail about why it's mediocre and from one poster who later posted that all cruise line food is mediocre. You can understand the frustration of those who have enjoyed the food on Cunard.
  19. Nobody said it was fresh, they questioned your accusation that it was South African.
  20. Thanks for clarifying, I'm not sure why other people's opinions should annoy you. Eating ashore isn't really an option on a Transatlantic crossing.
