  1. We had late fixed dining on our last cruise on QM2 but the tables next to us were open. That wasn't great for us but the neighbours we spoke to over the 14 nights seemed to think it was working well. Nobody mentioned long waits or pagers.
  2. From a previous discussion, this is the Dinner menu, Fish and Chips is available at lunchtime
  3. We had another glorious sunset, back to work and then home tomorrow.
  4. I've never heard of the expression and I've not experienced it on Cunard. Servers will usually tell you the name of the dish as they place it on the table but that's not the same as not knowing who is having which dish. A common problem at large family gatherings !
  5. I'm not sure seamless is the right word but it works when you're connected to the ship's WiFi.
  6. Cunard refer to it as an onboard digital planner https://www.cunard.com/en-gb/the-cunard-experience/my-voyage
  7. Nice to hear from you, it's another beautiful day in Pembrokeshire.
  8. There's also wine by the glass on page 5 & 6, did you check them?
  9. Yes, your sommelier will keep your wine for the next day if necessary. We usually have a bottle of red and white open.
  10. No, the metal fronted balconies are only forward on Deck 4, the last one is 4042.
  11. And apologies for this but here's Biggles enjoying tonight's sunset in Pembroke Dock!
  12. That's not correct, there is a section at the back of the wine list of wines by the glass. This is from last year so there may have been some changes but it will give you an idea. qm_wine_list_aug_2022a.pdf
  13. Sunrise in Piraeus, September 2nd 2008 from QE2
  14. Thanks for the update @Jack E Dawson, enjoy the rest of your trip.
  15. Well it's certainly a lot more distinctive than what was there before!
  16. Thank you for sharing it with us.
  17. That looks gorgeous @techteach, is that your RCI cruise? Thanks for posting @QM1 Bon Voyage @Lanky Lad
  18. Obviously the audience changes depending on where the ship is sailing.
  19. You had some answers to your previous thread here
  20. Fortunately the original post was incorrect. There is no upcoming increase in prices, the price increase was earlier in the year. The new price of $90 is for cruises where packages haven't been available in the past.
  21. From the Cunard website - "Specialist cleaning services Wet cleaning is a professional, aqueous cleaning process for sensitive and non-washable garments. The wet cleaning process was invented in 1991 by Kreussler & Co GmbH in cooperation with Miele. Wet cleaning avoids the use of chemical solvents. Environmental groups and the United States Environmental Protection Agency have indicated that such alternative ""wet cleaning"" methods are better for the environment than chemical solvents and proponents of wet cleaning state that these methods can be used without shrinking or otherwise damaging garments that typically require dry cleaning. We also offer slight alterations / repairs on board, for an added cost."
  22. That seems a more reliable source, thank you @bluemarble.
  23. The OP has requested a table for 2, the question was about what happens if they are allocated a sharing table.
