What makes you think you won't get airline points for you flight if you book through Regent? We have a flight on Delta and it shows on my Delta app as a normal booking so I expect to get points. I also chose my seats and expect lounge access. We had to make an adjustment ot our booking (the Regent rep booked the wrong day) and I didn'y have to pay a second $75. ***

I don't know Regent's rules but most cruiselines don't allow you to bring your own liquor on board. (Just wine)

Certain costs are fixed for the cruiselines. I think the profit margin on the luxury lines is higher and it would be unwise business practice to lose those customers. And, as far as cuts, we started cruising on Sitmar. Things that were "mainstream" then aren't even done on the luxury lines now. It bothered me for a while but it's just the way things go. **

I just looked at the choices for our in suite beverage choices and none of the bourbon choices are what my husband usually drinks. Are there more choices at the bars or dining rooms? Can we special order something not on their list? Thank you!

I know gratuities are included in the cruise fare but we usually tip the crew something extra. Are dollars ok for that or should we get Euros?

I had a similar question, although we DID book our flights through Regent. Also, the next morning will a Regent transfer coach be at the hotel to take us to the ship?

If they asked how many it might be possible they will be sending you "special" tags to attach so that you'll get priority delivery.

The weather hasn't (at least for us) been as reliable. The first 2 or 3 days and last 2 or 3 days have been pretty cool. This last year we had a lot of rain. It was still a FABULOUS cruise that we want to do again. The fall works out better for us than the spring but we're looking at doing spring 2025 because of the weather. Just before Covid Princess did the cruise in February (2020) and that was perfect!!! Wish they'd repeat that!!!!!

I didn't really expect to get that free cruise. I do have a serious question about the highlighted benefit above. If we have no status on RCCI or Celebrity we get a referral offer for our first Silversea cruise but if we DO have status we lose that offer? (And what exactly is a "Referral Offer?) Thanks

I certainly hope not. Combining benefits across Cruise Lines depletes them for everyone. Also CCL has 8 cruiselines with a combined 88 ships. Just too large and unwieldy to share Carnival Cruise Line. Ships: 23. Carnival Cruise Line. ... Princess Cruises. Ships: 15. Princess Cruises. ... Holland America Line. Ships: 11. We're Elite+ on Celebrity and I asked the same question on the Celebrity boards. (I knew it was a "no" before I asked but I thought it was funny.) We've had it with the crowds on the bigger lines and are trying Regent now but maybe we'll look at Silversea in the future. I do think that combining the loyalty programs dilutes the benefits for the smaller, high end lines though. ***

We are Elite Plus on Celebrity. Status match gives us 350 days on Silver Sea. When I look at their loyalty program it says one gets a free 7 day cruise for that level. So can we get our first cruise on Silver Sea gratis? 🤭

If you already know what cruise you want to transfer it to , do it at the same time. My experience is that the default is to just refund you the money from the deposit. Do you have a TA? A good TA should be able to make sure you are able to do that.

I've also noticed that the last year or so and attributed it to lots of new cruisers who are used to staying in hotels. Maybe jcpc is correct, though.
