  1. Bumping in hopes of an answer. As I said, we have significant $$$ that will expire relatively soon if the info I found is wrong. Thanks in advance.
  2. We are Elite+ and also have the package that includes unlimited basic WiFi. We get 240 minutes of Premium for being Elite+. How do we differentiate which we are using? (I want to mostly use my unlimited package but use the 240 minutes when better reception is needed). Do I need to go to the IT lounge to set up in this case?
  3. So, I did a search and came up with these two posts. Hoping this info is still accurate as we have significant $$$ from cancelled cruises in FCCs.
  4. I just want to verify that as of this last June the expiration policy on the cash portion of any cancelled cruise under the old "cancel before you cruise" policy has changed to it no longer has an expiration date. I'm saying - any money we paid (not any bonuses) will be good for ANY future cruise - even beyond a year from sail date. Correct?
  5. A company called Jilzarah makes key chain bracelets that you can attach your Medallion (in it's plastic holder) to. That's we we did. They come in regular and small sizes (for smaller wrists) and lots of colors and are also available on Amazon. I got the idea from a thread on here last year so am passing it on. https://jilzarah.com/collections/keychains https://www.amazon.com/JILZARAH-Wrist-Keychain-Nautical-Blue/dp/B096T7QY73/ref=asc_df_B096T7QY73/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=570192966175&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=9460287528901433439&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1016367&hvtargid=pla-1596224187344&th=1
  6. You can get small bottles of Pellegrino with the Plus package.
  7. Balcony cabin layout. There is a small glass table usually tucked into the corner next to the cabinet with the TV. (Although that extra chair is now gone) Lots of pictures and videos of various cabin layouts. https://www.cruisemapper.com/cabins/Royal-Princess-650
  8. Rather than no table at all, the above picture is what I think is on all smaller balconies. The larger, dining size table would take up too much space.
  9. That was a mini suite on Dolphin deck but this one is from a Caribe Balcony on the Emerald in Feb. of 2020. (if you're sensing a theme you'd be correct.)
  10. Since when is there no table on the balcony? We last sailed this past January and I'm sure we had a table.
  11. Denali2003 Your answers are in the posts I quoted above. And there is no longer any Traditional Dining. It's now all called "Dine Your Way" - which is Anytime rebranded. I have been able to book the same table, same time (which will hopefully translate to a traditional experience) through the Medallion app for 2 upcoming cruises but many, many others have not been able to do that.
  12. I think the patisserie on the Island used to be where Good Spirits is now. I think someone said there is a small case for baked goods still on the Good Spirits counter but that he checked early one morning and the case was empty. Maybe they put pastries in there during the day.
  13. Zeroing out the count is a US requirement. (Along with some other countries) It's nice not losing those couple of hours we always have to wait for the one couple they can't find. 😄
  14. We also have a Carnival offer but, unlike past offers, it is for Carnival ONLY - not Carnival Cruise Lines. 😠 (In the fine print it says NOT valid for Princess and some others)
  15. HI! If this who I think it is then hi neighbor. Don't you wish we were all doing that French Polynesian cruise again. Anyways, we tried Club Class this last January and loved the quieter, more personalized service. I just wish we didn't have to sail in that uncovered balcony to get it. We're on the Sapphire (hopefully) in 2023 (back to Tahiti , if only for 2 days) so are also following this advice as to which dining room.
  16. If you go could you please find out how late the various locations are open. (Kind of hoping Good Spirits, at least, is open past 11.)
  17. Grab the aft! Our favorite cabin and most have 9x9 totally covered balconies. I don't think any cabins on Dolphin have covered balconies . Googled again . This is the Sapphire. D736 is the large balcony second from the bottom on the end with the white side - totally uncovered. (The large covered Emerald cabins are the bottom ones.) You can also see all of the aft balconies.
  18. I googled Sapphire Princess Cabins D736 or D737 images and found this: Cabin Balcony
  19. The balcony is bigger but did you see this? Special Notes: NON-STANDARD LAYOUT TWIN BEDS ONLY/ SHOWER ONLY/NO TUB/ NO SINK VANITY We haven't been in either of those cabins but have been in E728 with a similar balcony. It is very long but doesn't go around any corners. (Also E728 has a "normal" cabin layout inside but is a mini suite)
  20. Top image is the 2 story MDR and bottom is Blu. We prefer the quiet but I've spoken to lots of people who like the ambience of the MDR.
  21. Great cruise but the only disappointment is that , with 32 days and only 8 ports there are no real overnights. (If anyone was interested in the Oct. 2023 cruise, it's the same but it's Hilo instead of Mauai, and it's the day before Honolulu.)
  22. Yes, the new cruises really are expensive but our absolutely AMAZING TA got us our favorite cabin! You only live once - less to leave the kids.
  23. And I just knew I could come on here and someone would let me know when the itineraries actually show. Thanks CC! Also waiting for an email from our wonderful TA that she (HOPEFULLY!!!) got us the cabin we wanted on our 2023 cruise!
