  1. Yes we're happy. Remember though ship sailing at 40% capacity.
  2. Sailing Pride of America 24 Sept. Upgrade from inside to Balcony for $160 Australian dollars. Please note ship sailing at 40% capacity.
  3. Try Onpoint. It's a video proctored test. Supply your own RAT. Do an online chat with them before you book to check that your RAT is an acceptable brand.
  4. Info received is from our roll call. A lot of people are receiving different information. That's why I'm trying to find a good celebrity contact who will be able to advise us how to deal with the issue.
  5. Hi all. Back story. We are sailing Honolulu to Sydney 3 October 2022. We have just been advised that we need to have a negative proctored covid test 2 days prior to cruise. Originally advised negative test non proctored. All other cruises only require nonproctoted negative covid test or no test at all. We have been advised the Hawaiian proctored testing and also some brands of video proctoring will be closing end of September. We need to alert someone on Celebrity that it may not be possible for people to test. Get them to arrange something for cruisers. Can someone please provide a way to contact Celebrity and alert them to the issue? Thanks in advance.
  6. Just booked first Costa Cruise. Typically when do shore excursions become available to book? Also if we purchase the shore excursion package, can we choose any full day and 2 x half day tours or are they limited to specific ones?
  7. It's one device at any given time. So download app to all your devices and turn off wifi on the ones you aren't using. Also a tip once on the ship, use your cabin number to login. We found less dropouts that way.
  8. FYI. 26 January is Australia Day. National public holiday. I think equivalent to your Canada day.
  9. Hi we will be cruising to Norway in September 2023. Having trouble deciding between these 2 itineraries. Can anyone please make suggestions as to why they think one is better than the other? Copenhagen, Helleslyt, Geiranger, Bergin, Stavanger, Kiel and Copenhagen. Costa Firenz. Copenhagen, Helleslyt, Maloy, Flam, Kiel and Copenhagen. MSC Euribia. We are swaying towards the one that goes to Flam, however that means no Bergin. Thanks in advance for your input.
  10. Don't mention travel agents name against CC rules. I have not known an TA's who monitor price drops. However some may if they have personal relationships with their customers. Enjoy your first cruise experience.
  11. Things may change by the time you cruise. RAT are readily available for purchase at pharmacies and supermarkets.
  12. Use Andrews Parking or similar for your car. They will drop you to the port. On arrival back in Brisbane they will pick you up from the Airport.
  13. It's a glitch. When get all the way through the booking, it will show for the eligible guest only.
  14. No quarantine, as per my original post. Not allowed to leave cabin. No one to enter cabin, except in case of an emergency. Applies to close contact and covid positive passengers. No offer of testing, however if you were to get symptoms I'm sure you could call and get it done.
  15. Currently covid positive people and their close contacts remain isolated in their cabins on Coral. If there are cabins reserved for covid cases they must be full. No one will release how many covid cases there are on board.
  16. You still have the option of a card. Just go to the purser's desk.
  17. I pay online and it won't let deposit more than the outstanding amount.
  18. There's no opportunity to have cash in 28 degree credit card now. Can only make a payment when there's an outstanding amount. This change occurred some time ago.
  19. Unfortunately not. However you can get one as a "roadie" to take back to the cabin. There is a time check on how quickly you can get a drink after you have received on. You only need to have 4 beers and a coffee and that's $40 so anything over that you're in front.
  20. Cruising may still require test though. It reads that new ruling is for flights only.
