Looking for a hotel close to the port & city center. We are doing a Norway cruise in July 2023. Also found out neither Denmark or Norway take Euro's. We're planning on two days pre cruise in Copenhagen so don't want to end up with a whole bunch of local currencies after our cruise. We have Euro's left over from our last European cruise, do they take them & give change in local?

With two grand daughters & four great grand daughters I know were your coming from.

I love A&W root beer floats, it's been awhile. The BBQ drum sticks look tasty. Hope all the fathers out there had a great day yesterday, I know I did. Daughter & grand son drove 4 hours for an over night visit first time we've seen them in two years, glad when this covid is behind us.

We will be stopping here on 11 July & heard that the sail into Kotor was beautiful and to be sure to be on deck for it.

Sad to hear that the on board entertainment has gone down hill that much.

Does cost/time influence your choice? Do you have time / money for 7,14,21 day cruise? Will you be back for another cruise? Take a longer cruise and see a bit of everything, or a shorter cruise & see a couple of places. There is so much to see & experience in the Med. What ever you decide enjoy your cruise.

2 July Oosterdam 14 Day Aegean Sunsets & Adriatic Gems

There has been an awful lot of problems with HAL's FlightEase. We're flying out 29 July to Athens & HAL cancelled our flight, I had to rebook our own flights. Our TA tried to get HAL to correct it, gave up and advised us to book the flights our self. She could not get any one at HAL that handles the flights to sort it out. She's a travel agent & didn't use HAL's FlightEase.

Good to hear about the mask policy. We are boarding the Oosterdam in Athens on 2 July. Looking forward to reading our post during this cruise.

The cruise to the North Cape is still on our bucket list. That was one of our cancelled cruises last year, maybe next year.

HAL sent us am email asking if we would like this service & we signed up for it. This was for our cruise in July. Don't know how it will be done for future cruises.

The worst part of going on a vacation is having to fly, not the actual flying part it's the part about having to go through the airport, what a mess. Watching the news & hearing the horror stories makes you want to stop flying. I'm hoping they have a lot of this sorted out before we have to go through Toronto at the end of June. We plan on getting there 6 hours before our flight.

Thank you for posting about your cruise. I think these are all very important issues that should be addressed. And it's important that management hear about these problems so they can be fixed, you can't fix it if you don't know it's broken. We also had a problem with HAL's FlightEase for our up coming cruise. I hope all these problems get fixed before our cruise on her in July. We're on the the 14 day out of Athens.
