  1. I use a Velcro wrist band. It’s on my wrist 24x7 so I always have it. It came from Amazon & I use it on all of my cruises. Tom😀
  2. I’m with you. I love the Velcro as it’s very easy to take on & off & I wear mine 24x7 so it’s always near me & the minute I’ll near my stateroom it automatically unlocks my door. Tom😃👍
  3. It came from Amazon several years ago. Use this link…https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C99C8D98/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&th=1 to see a similar one. Tom😀
  4. Anyone considered asking your stateroom attendant & explain what you want to do & why? Tom🤔
  5. Yes they are very difficult to reach. Here’s who I’ve reached from Princess…I would also use the phone number as well. Allison Thompson Group Onboard Services Coordinator PRINCESS CRUISES 24305 Town Center Drive Valencia, CA 91355 Direct: (661) 284-4432 If you want a specific location & time please mention that. I requested Skywalkers as it’s the best location & I’ll try to post a photo of the officers & my photo will be very clear & easy to read the names. I also bring letters inviting the ship officers to attend. Tom😀
  6. I have never stood in a long line at pier 27 in San Francisco. I’m usually there btw 9-9:30 am & am usually one of the 1st group to be let inside. Just have a printout that shows you’re book on that cruise. If you come later in the day their could be a long line but my way avoids that & I’m on the ship before most people which means I avoid the crowds. Even in another port I’m always there extra early. My cruise on September 2 will be my 38th cruise on Princess. Tom😀
  7. I’ve reserved a table for a group with the same table & time. That was a great idea as you could just walk in each night & go directly to your table. Remember that if people come in late, they may assign someone else to your table, so make sure that everyone knows this & if they are not coming one night to let you know, incase they want your seats. I’ve learned from experience to have people to let someone know if they’re not coming. I give everyone my phone number, if necessary, so that they can text me. I’ve never had a problem in my 38 cruises, on Princess, if I wanted the same table each night. Tom😀
  8. What do others think about the wrist band holder that I suggested? Here’s what mine looks like. Since it’s always on my wrist I never have to remember where it is or to take it with me. I have removed it & put it into my pocket when I’m dressed for the Formal Nights.
  9. I'm sailing on the Crown Princess from San Francisco to Alaska on September 2, 2024. I just found out that the Ruby Princess is also sailing from San Francisco on the same day to Alaska. We have 2 cruise terminals in San Francisco. I’ve looked & can’t find out any information as to which pier my Crown Princess will be using. Anyway to find that out? Thanks! Tom😁
  10. What do you know about double cruises and double cruise days? I’ve not heard of that before. On Facebook someone listed the following “If you purchased Princess insurance you will be charged additional insurance for the Plus Package added to your cruise price. If you buy it the first day you board, you won't be charged additional insurance.” What do you know about that? Thankd! Tom🤔
  11. I’m reposting my question as I haven’t received any reply’s. I’ve already purchased the Plus Package. Is it better for me to cancel & book once I’m on board? Tom😀
  12. Another suggestion is where you can check the box that says 7-7:30 am, I just circle 7 am & it arrives around that time. Writing on the card things that aren’t listed but you would like, as others have mentioned, have worked for myself. Tom😀
  13. I’ve already purchased the Plus Package. Is it better for me to cancel & book once I’m on board? Tom😀
  14. If you were to buy it onboard you could use any of your OBC rather than paying in advance. Tom😀
  15. I have a wrist band, very inexpensive from Amazon, that’s a one time expense that I wear 24x7. Tom😀
  16. Had you thought about the shades that you can wear over your eyes which will easily solve your problem & extremely easy to pack? Tom😀
  17. I’ve done that already. I have one photo of the officers board but it’s not real clear. I’m just trying different places on CC to see what happens. Tom😀
  18. I’m on the September 2, 2024, Alaska cruise & am organizing a Meet & Greet. I making out invite letters to all of the officers & would appreciate if someone could post a photo a photo of the officers board. Thank you very much. Tom Barton😀
  19. I’ve seen several postings where it was mentioned about the batteries inside. Tom
  20. Hello everyone, I'm on the September 2, 2024 cruise on the Crown Princess & would appreciate if anyone could take a photo of the officers board with their photos & post it, as I’m using it for the officers invite that I’m using for our invite letters to our Meet & Greet. Thank you very much. Tom😀👍
  21. I do have a T/A & they tell me that there is nothing that they can do. I originally booked myself & transferred my reservation. I’ve been able to bid before even tho I had a T/A. I’m not sure if Princess Policy has changed & calling Princess doesn't help. Tom🤔
  22. They did explain the price & I already knew the difference btw what I paid & the difference to the next level & it was a very good price, reasonable. I wanted to go from an Ocean View to a Balcony. I’ve been trying to make a bid for my September Alaska cruise & since it won’t let me bid I plan to ask once I’m on the ship. Even if Princess site shows that none are available it still doesn’t hurt to ask what upgrades are available. Tom😀
  23. One tip about ordering breakfast on the order card in room. I added French Toast which wasn’t on the menu & it was delivered. There was an option of 7-7:30 am choice & I just circled 7 am & it was delivered around that time. Tom😀
  24. I’ve been using that site on a regular basis & get the following message & I’m still confused.. Tom🤔
