  1. FYI…United is starting to board passengers according to your seat location. Window will board first followed by middle & isle. Sounds good to me. What do other people think? Tom😀
  2. Here’s the response from Faxzero. Just wanted everyone to know that it does work. I’ll post again when it’s posted on the Princess page for my cruise. Anyone know how soon you can apply for the credit? Fax Status: Success! Your fax (ID: #33539713) to Carnival Corporation at 6617530180 has been delivered successfully at 8:50 PM Eastern Daylight Time on October 17th, 2023. The content of your fax included 1 page of coversheet with your text and 2 pages of attached documents. Be sure to follow up with the recipient to make sure that the fax is legible and is delivered to the right person in the office. Thank you for using FaxZero.com Tom😀
  3. I sent in a fax tonight & received confirmation it went through. No problems for me using faxzero.com which was free. Tom😀
  4. I just faxed in my request. After you’ve submitted your documents how long dit it take before you saw the credit?
  5. 1. We have priority boarding. What does this entail? Have bad knees and standing for an extended period/walking for more than 3-4 blocks is problematic. Any suggestions for embarkation from the pier would be appreciated……They have seating at the terminal where you can sit. Get there as early as you can so most of the seats aren’t taken. What level are you at with Princess? 2. We have booked two reserve collection mini suites. The rooms are not connecting - but can they connect the two balconies?…If both parties talk to the steward they will unlock the balcony door. 3. Do they have lemon for iced tea in the buffet area? Good question but your question is ship related & all ships might not all have the same beverages. 4. Do any of the restaurants serve grapefruit juice for breakfast? 5. Suggestions for attire in early May in Alaska…Casual attire is fine but in Alaska be prepared for rain at anytime but May has the least amount of rain. Tom😀 .
  6. I’m on C706 on the Royal Princess. Here’s a photo on C709. This will give some idea of the stateroom. It’s from cruisedeckplans.com. For me I’m not worried about my location. Tom😀
  7. I did a 21 day cruise before on the Majestic Princess from Sydney Australia to Hong Kong, a repositioning cruise & loved every minute of it. You’ll enjoy every moment. On the 1st port stop I met someone from CC that was joining the ship from there & he offered to meet us at the pier & take us around the town. Here’s the couple that took us around. Tom😀
  8. Can you tell us what ship & the cabin number so we can look at the location? Tom😀
  9. On my next cruise that will be in addition to my $1,100 credit Princess already gave me for being a Veteran. Looking forward to the extra $ that I may cash out in the casino. Tom😀
  10. FYI…I’ve been on only B-B & we were delayed as we were missing 2 people. We finally left without them. Later I met a lady & she & her husband were getting a massage at the time. Guess they didn’t understand the instructions. They were one of the most travelled couples on our cruise. At least we only had to wait about 10 minutes. This was before the Medallion so they couldn’t be tracked. Tom😀
  11. I have a cruise next year that was sold out on the Princess web site but my T/A got me a guarantee. I’m told that I will have a stateroom as they will give someone an offer to give up their stateroom. I’m aware that I won’t have a choice as to where on the ship. This will be my first guarantee. I’m on a solar eclipse cruise. Anyone had a guarantee before & if so how soon did you know your stateroom assignment? My booking is for a Stateroom: GUAR (Deluxe Balcony: DW). I’ve looked & the Deluxe Balconies are all obstructed view but just being on the ship is OK. Perhaps I wind up with a Mini Suite as I assume I can’t be in a lower category. Tom😀👍
  12. Are the attendants required to stay with you once you’re at the gate prior to the boarding of the plane? I will be traveling with a walker. Is that stored on the plane & taken off upon arrival? How much do people usually tip the attendants? Thanks for everyone’s information & suggestions. Tom😀👍
  13. I had the same question & my T/A says Princess will find someone to cancel their cruise to have a stateroom available. I have a guarantee on a cruise that is sold out. The only catch is that I don’t have any control as to where I’ll be. Tom😀
  14. Thanks for the video. Extremely helpful. Tom😀👍
  15. FYI…I wear mine on my wrist so it’s on 24x7. That way it’s never left anywhere by mistake. Here's what it looks like. Tom😎
  16. It’s a simple walker the folds up with just wheels in the front. I could hold it in my lap but I’ve also been told that it could be put on the back of the wheelchair as they can hang things there. As I’ve already said the Alaska Website wasn’t very clear about getting a wheelchair & having someone push me from the front of the airport to the gate. I'll call Alaska to see what they say & post what I find out. Thanks! Tom😎
  17. Yes I have thevTSA Pre-Check. Wouldn’t travel without it. The Alaska website was not clear about any of that & someone mentioned about the person traveling with them having to wheel them. I’m on Alaska Airlines. I’m on another flight with United Airlines where it’s very clear but not clear with Alaska. They kept talking about wheelchairs. Hopefully someone will have used Alaska Airlines defore. I’m aware I can also call the airlines. Thanks for everyone’s help & suggestions. Tom😀
  18. Yes I can walk down the gateway with no problems. I was trying to find that someone be there at the airport when I arrive from Alaska Airlines at SFO that will take me through security to the boarding gate & when I arrive they meet me at the gate, take me to baggage claim, & outside where I can get a Uber/Lift ride. It wasn’t clear to me on the Alaska website as they kept talking about wheelchairs & one person mentioned that nobody at the airport never showed up & the person that they were traveling with had to wheel them through the airport. I’m traveling solo so I won’t have that as an option. Thanks with all of your suggestions. Yes like you I can walk slow. Any help, especially with Alaska Airlines appreciated. Tom😀
  19. Yes I’m aware that I can bring my walker onboard but having a wheelchair at the airport but I was trying to find that someone be there at the airport at SFO from Alaska Airlines when I arrive & will take me through security to the boarding gate & when I arrive they meet me at the gate, take me to baggage claim, & outside where I can get a Uber/Lift ride. I’m traveling solo so I won’t have that as an option. Any help, especially with Alaska Airlines appreciated. Tom😀
  20. Anyone used Alaska Airlines using a walker? I’ve looked at their website & they only talk about wheelchairs. Nothing about a walker. It also wasn’t clear about going from the curb at the airport through security to the gate. I'm on another trip using United & it’s very clear. Thanks! Tom😀
  21. Any problems getting on or off from the airplane & which airlines? Tom🤔
  22. My mistake it’s called Pier 23 cafe but they are known for having Jazz music. I’m not sure what time of the day they have music but great food & drinks. Here’s a like to their web site & some photos. https://www.pier23cafe.com Tom
  23. Yes that’s correct. Sorry my mistake. My apologies. Tom😎
  24. You can get plastered right at the pier at the jazz cafe. Question….What happens if you enter the cruise terminal & try to board plastered. Just curious. Tom🤔
