  2. I have always had the Princess Plus since it has been offered & I have 35 cruises on Princess. I’m not a big drinker but on a cruise I enjoy having a drink occasionally, at lunch & dinner & occasionally throughout the evening. & don’t worry about the cost. Since it includes my wi-Fi and gratuities I don’t owe anything more at the end of my cruise. I’m aware it may not be for someone that doesn’t drink much. Tom😀

  5. I’ve bid before & it isn’t free. I just look to see what the minimum bid would be & decide if I’m interested. I just made a bid from a balcony on deck 10, to a deluxe balcony also on the same deck, the minimum bid of $200. It’s bigger with a large sofa. I’ve looked at the deck plans so I know where they would be on Deck 10. Since this is a 14 day cruise I will love the Deluxe Balcony if my bid is excepted. Wish me luck! Tom😀

One option is, if you don’t want to wait until your stateroom is assigned, & are interested in an upgrade, you could go onto the Princess site, & see how much you would have to pay if you were to bid for an upgraded stateroom. I’m in a balcony & to bid for a Premium Balcony, which is larger with a nice sofa, my minimum bid would be $200 & an upgrade to a Mini Suite would be $600. Since I’m solo I pay double. I’ve bid once & was happy with my stateroom. My current Balcony is on deck 10 as the balcony is one of the largest & partially covered & uncovered. All of the Premium Balconies are also only on this deck so I’ve put in a $200 bid. I like having the sofa to relax on. I’ll be interested to see if I get anything as my bid is the minimum. Tom🤔

  11. Here’s what I’ve done. Instead of marking the 7-7:30 am slot I’ve circled the 7 am time & that was a marvelous idea. Tom😀

I recently had a back injury, my next cruise is on December 9, 2023, & if I need to have it with me how do I arrange, if necessary, going through security with any carryon items & boarding the ship? Once they start boarding the ship will I be allowed to go right to my stateroom? If you’ve had this experience what did you/they do? Thanks! Tom😀
  13. Yes that’s a great idea. Guess that’s an advantage of coming after 1 pm. I’ve always arrived early as I would rather be on the ship as early as possible, & avoid any possibility of long checkin lines which I’ve seen here occasionally. I recently had a back injury & currently use a walker. Hopefully I won’t need one then but if I do perhaps they will let me into my stateroom early. Tom😀
  14. Many times the staterooms aren’t available until 1 pm so you have no place to safely put your bag. If anyone is aware of staterooms being available when you board the ship, I’m onboard as soon as the ship is open for boarding, please post that here. Tom🤔

  16. Have you thought of just ordering soup & a salad & possibly something if you have a sweet tooth? I like the idea of a sit down meal & not having to deal with the crowds in the buffet & traveling solo where do I put my carryon? Just a thought. Tom😀
  17. Thank you very much for your information. I’ll be on United so I’ll see what happens. I like the idea of gate checking my walker. I have no connecting flight so no problems there. My walker is small with only wheels on the front. I’ve looked on Amazon but their bags are for big walkers. Any suggestions? Thanks again! Tom😀

  23. Interesting as my fax for my April 2024 cruise was excepted via fax so that’s why I was confused. I used that email address, SBPCL@Princesscruises.com, which I’ve used many times, plus the form shows the fax number so I don’t know why my fax for my 2024 cruise went through for my 2024 cruise. My email was sent last Thursday & I usually hear from them by now. Who can I contact about my request? Can I use the same address to ask questions? Thanks! Tom😀
  24. I faxed in a request for a cruise in April & got the credit. Then I faxed a request for a cruise in early December & waited a few days & didn’t hear anything so I emailed my request. I’ve I hope that I didn’t cause any problems. Any suggestions? This is the 1st time in 35 cruises that I have ever had any problems. I check my cruise several times a day with nothing. Tom😀
