  1. I booked this cruise on opening day. Usually have seen a price drop and do a refare. I booked this with another 14 day. I refared the 14day to a discounted Interline fare and the 12 day is still a better deal on original day price than an Interline fare. Cruise still looks about 50% open, but still a year away. Every "sale" or offer has gotten progressively more $$.
  2. Mahalo, cancelling and relogging in worked. You're right a clumsy way to get in, but what makes sense in Princess ITT anyway.
  3. Wow, $1000pp increase to get $200 OBC what a DEAL. I should call right now. This for a 12day European Capitals cruise May 2025.
  4. The Majestic Bar tenders were the best. They told me to stock pile the Aussie beers i liked as after Auckland the beer selection would change over to American beer menu. I had about a 2 day supply.Had to use the drawer as my fridge was full.😀
  5. Take it from an "expert" you can order a max of 4 beers of one type at a time. I would order 4 of 1 and 4 of another and then a few waters at a time ( on my wifes package of course) to our room every other day or so. Our fridge was always packed with beers and waters. Room service was always quick as we got to know the waiters, 40day and 26day cruises and they knew I'd take care of them.
  6. We have several cruises planned and all are loaded in the app. When I go to the web version in my personalizer and attempt t sign in, I get this message " This booking is already claimed". I've tried logging out of the app to see if that makes a difference and it doesn't. Any ideas on a work around?
  7. Yes, go to Guest Service desk and ask for a card or cards. I always fill out several every cruise. They do get read and I've gotten feedback on those I've submitted.
  8. The problem is on board you’re connected to Medallion Net. All it thinks is that you want to be connected to use app onboard. That’s why you can access through your laptop using a browser. That’s what’s worked for me.
  9. Here's what I've arranged. After seeing and reading about taxi price gouging, I went with this. He has been very good about communicating. The day can be customized as you like. I paid to have them come into port to pick us up.
  10. A $20 usually gets us anytime we want 😀

    MUTS ?

How about passing out noise cancelling headsets to those that can't find their quiet place, or earplugs so you don't have to wear a headset in the heat. Earplugs could be worn in the pool so that solves the damage to loaned headsets. I like the outdoor entertainment and after 38yrs of marriage, I'm good at drowning out noise I don't care to listen to. I bet a lot more people enjoy the outdoor entertainment than those that don't. There's always a place you can find to have your quiet space, but if you decide on the MUTS area, you can do so without restricting others.
  12. We will be on a different cruise, but in Keelung we will be going to Jiufen by taxi or bus. Check Trip Advisor for more info on these Asian ports.
  13. Just did a TP on the Majestic. Got a Blueberry muffin every am from the IC from Habib. I don't follow gluten free, but found out the muffin was gluten free. Very good.
  14. Also the aft area on the port side is a smoking area.
  15. We booked the Med for Nov of 2026. Looks like full schedule is out. The Sun and the Enchantment have full schedules.
  16. "Depending on terminal you come into at LAX, Uber and Taxi area can be a pain to get to. The area is next to terminal 1 where Southwest comes into. The bus operates on a loop and the bus can fill by the later terminals. You can walk but only terminal 1 and terminal 7 UAL are fairly close". This was to address alternate transportation from LAX to San Pedro. You have to walk from Terminal 7 UAL to LAXIT lot for Taxi and Uber/Lyft. Buses as well as Private car services also can pick up from terminal stops as well as Uber Black, which is treated as a private car service.

  18. Could be IT was worried about crash with a set opening time knowing people would be ready. They’ll probably open it at some random time to avoid the rush.
  19. Just checked all our bookings through 2026 and all are still $60 USD.
  20. 40 days on the Majestic. I just started adding my wife's room service trays under my side of the mattress. That made it a bit more firm.
  21. In my airline years I spent many layovers in Japan and wish I had the translator then. I know I ate a few things I might not have had I known what I was truly eating. 😀
  22. You use your medallion to purchase tokens for the washers, dryers and products if you didn't bring your own. $3.50 for wash and or Dry so $7.50 per load.
  23. Google translate or a similar language translator is a big help. Not as good as speaking the language but a lot better than pointing and hand gestures.
  24. March/April 2024, Majestic still had the blenders.
  25. The Platinum Insurance is 9% of cruise fare. Elites and Platinum members get the free upgrade to Platinum when booking the Standard Insurance. To upgrade on your own if not Elite or Platinum, or if you are on certain fares ( Interline for one ) that aren't eligible for the free upgrade the cost is 12%. I'll be booking onboard for the next few cruise after doing the Insurance comparison. If on the free upgrade and paying 9% of the total fare in insurance, the package price would have to go above $65.40 a day and $67.20 a day if on higher premium payment. And for further savings, top off your OBC using 8% off AARP cards, reducing your daily from $60.00 to $55.20.
