I have not seen recent reviews other than a couple families who seemed to have a good time. Things can vary.
That being said, we sailed BA when new in the best room on the ship and there is nothing getting us on BA or GA. Crowding was one of the issues. Escape was, for us, much better and generally gets good reviews.
We did a rental to downtown Miami once and it was a hot mess. Luckily we dropped car then quick shuttle to ship. Those picking up cars was long line.
I'd drop at airport and go from there.
Welcome to CC. From experience, sewage smell can vary widely. Yes, there is the drain in the room pour water trick. Sometimes it is larger than that. We were aft on Sun and it was pervasive the whole aft from deck 10 to outside several floors down where we did muster. It was in the halls. Went away once we sailed. Others never experienced on other trips. Same goes for soot being aft.
POA second trip very common to have it mid ship forward of Cagney's no matter if docked or underway.
We have 8. We last had 11 day. Walked out three times and either had buffet or room service. Burgers actually go to or pasta. Rest not good. Nothing booked either line this year.
Well, they just don't make themselves so somebody who made them provided a service.
Heck, we have a DVD from years ago and DD would brush up and make some for room steward. Steward never tipped her for her....service in making it?
How has indulge seating been? Nice enough to sit outside?
Did the ship have an anchor up front on deck? Viva has one bit Prima looks like it is missing.
Well, done two poa trips and that was a nice part of the trip. I guess some will argue it is guest enhancement.
Note we don't have any cruises planned this year but will be on Kona in a little over a week. Will be sourcing goods from Costco so premium beverages will be there, once a day turn down, rotating chefs, all day whirlpool. All for our convenience, of course.
