  1. Best, rectified? Anyway, per Celebritys website, celebrityengagementcenter@celebrity.com. I would call the Captains Club. https://www.celebritycruises.com/company/customer-support/contact-us
  2. Even if it is a RC Cruise Compass.
  3. No covid test required to fly into SJ. No covid test required to fly back to the states. Covid test required to board the ship.
  4. Speaking for yourself. It wasn't for me. ๐Ÿคฃ
  5. No need to be sad. We weren't. ๐Ÿคฃ
  6. We didn't have a small table in our cabin. Asked the cabin attendant for one, sorry, no can do. When we needed a table, I would bring the one in from our balcony and then put it back on the balcony when we were done with it.
  7. No room service. All our B2B experiences we have always had a TAD lunch in the MDR.
  8. Hope it's true but will wait until officially published by Celebrity. I've read on the RCCI forum that those currently on B2B cruises that the B2B covid test is no longer being offered. Hopefully soon the pre cruise covid test is no longer going to be required.
  9. Agree. Sure the Explorer is in much need for a lot of TLC. For us the food in the MDR for breakfast and dinner was good. At least our selections. We both are beef eaters and our selections were always good and cooked perfectly. Great attentive waitstaff (AM and PM), head waiter in the evening was entertaining and always around. We never ate in the WJ. "Fuhgeddaboutit"! We thought we would one sea day on the second leg. Walked in and walked right back out. A free for all. We thought the DLC and his staff were some of the best. Including the VCL. Our cabin balcony had a cosmetic issue that I immediately reported and it was taken care of the next day while we were in port. Entertainment (theater and Studio B) was the same we've seen before on past Explorer cruises. Some shows we went to others we skipped. Missed not having QUEST. We prefer the guest entertainers over the ships production shows. Our cabin attendant took very good care of us. She worked her butt off on the second leg from what we saw when we walked by a few cabins that had the doors open. A lot of quad occupancy. I don't get how people can live like that even for a short time. Other than the casino host (๐Ÿ˜ฎ) the crew we interacted with were friendly and polite. We would sail on the Explorer again. Just not out of SJU. This thread is a good example of why I (we) wouldn't or would book a cruise line, ship, itinerary, etc. based on someone's positive or negative experiences or opinions.
  10. You're assumption is incorrect. Exactly why I'll make my decisions, no matter the subject. Just stating my opinion as you did.
  11. As a hard core realist, I would never make informed decisions based on someone's negative or positive opinions or experiences, no matter the subject.
  12. Solution...don't get sick. Which you've been successful at.๐Ÿ‘
  13. Did they get the OBC and reduced deposit?
  14. 4 out of the 5 you would get. No bathtubs in OV cabins. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  15. Same experience I had for our March B2B cruise on the Explorer. But, when we got on the ship and got our SeaPass cards we were MTD instead of early (6:00PM) TD. We stopped by the MDR, explained. No problem. We then went into the MDR and selected our table. Came back to the podium and the Head Waiter made all the changes. For the second leg the Head Waiter asked if we wanted the same time and table. Yes. Even had the same wait staff. First time for having the same wait staff for both legs.
  16. On a positive note. At least Celebrity doesn't allow smoking in their casinos. ๐Ÿ˜
  17. You will receive a detailed letter a day or two prior to TAD advising you of all the details specific for your cruise. Depending on the embarkation port, ship, mood of customs (๐Ÿ˜‰) that day will determine if you are required to disembark or stay on the ship. Typically once you (all B2Bers) are done with the TAD process you are free to return to your stateroom. The fire doors to the staterooms will be closed but you are free to enter. Just remember to close the doors behind you. Usually there is a consecutive cruisers lunch held in the MDR. Not all B2B cruises are handled the same. Can change from cruise to cruise, ship to ship.
