  1. All kidding aside, that's what we always do.
  2. I've sent emails to Lisa and always have received answers back from someone at the ExecutiveOffice@celebrity.com. Give it a shot.
  3. At the time of booking our cruises is when I ask to have the military/veteran discount applied.
  4. I have. Most recent was for our March 2023 Apex cruise and for our future September 2024 Edge cruise.
  5. If you are asked to provide proof of service your Honorable Discharge certificate (copy) will work. I've never been asked for proof, which IMO Celebrity or TA should. Princess requested a copy of my DD214. But their program is different from Celebrity's. One time submission. Good for all future cruises. No discount but an OBC and the amount is based on length of the cruise.
  6. The CC HH is no longer an organized event in Sky Lounge from 5 to 7 with drinks and snacks. The CC still calls it the CC HH but you can go to most bars between 5 to 7 and order your drinks from the CC limited beverage menu. No snacks, no CC concierge. Just show the server at the bar you want a drink at your SeaPass card and tell the server you'd like the CC beverage menu to order your drinks from.
  7. Since you were honorably discharged do you have the honorable discharge certificate and a DD214 from that branch of service? You should request the military/veteran discount when booking your next cruise. Being recognized for my service by Celebrity goes beyond the monetary amount.
  8. You were told wrong and you should request the veteran discount again when booking your next cruise. Whether it's directly with Celebrity or a TA. Being recognized for my service by Celebrity goes beyond the monetary amount.
  9. I also have "veteran" on my DL. I also have a VA medical card for a service connected injury.
  10. The Eden deck 5. Out of the main stream of traffic flow. Martini bar was the most popular. Unlike RC CAS you can not get your Celebrity CC HH drinks in the dining venues.
  11. I always have a copy of my DD214 but I have never ever had to show mine even when booking onboard.
  12. Just throwing out to the OP you and others can't speak for what the staff may or may not allow. Personally I don't care what others wear, no matter their age or gander as it's way above my pay grade.
  13. On our September Summit and March Apex cruises (not sure how many elite and above) the bars were always busy and I'm sure the current way the CC HH is done added to that. But we go for pre-dinner drinks at 4:45 and are gone NLT 5:45. We thought our wait times were reasonable and refills offered when our glasses were near empty. We always get the CBP so we don't order from the limited CC HH beverage menu.
  14. Buy more pants. Shorts are acceptable in the MDR for breakfast and lunch. Doesn't matter what others post here either based on experience or opinion. The staff at the entrance to the MDR in the evening will let you know.
  15. The CC no longer does the CC HH in the evening like it was before the shutdown. Drinks and snacks in one lounge from 5 to 7:PM. The current CC HH is from 5 to 7:PM (still excluding the first evening) at most bars (depending on the class of ship depends on what bars are excluded). No snacks but the same CC HH beverage menu.
  16. Only if you dare to. Tell your friend the fanny pack is optional.
  17. Also the MDR is only open for lunch on sea days. Speak with the maître d’ (will be outside the MDR handling dining request) when you first board the ship and request a table for two for the evening.
  18. Then you made the right decision. As long as it works for you, that's all that matters. Enjoy. 🍻
