  1. Not really as Celebrity and RCI operate independent of one another even though they are under the RCG umbrella. All Celebrity did was eliminate the CC HH gathering for dinks and snacks in a lounge from 5 to 7. The timeline stayed the same and unlimited drinks between 5 to 7 stayed the same currently. No specific lounge, no pre dinner snacks. RC enhanced the CAS program by now allowing the CAS HH drinks without a start stop time like in the past. The DL is still operating from 5 to 8 with pre dinner snacks. You now have to use your CAS tier level drinks in the DL or pay if you have used all your allotted drinks for the day. Way better than Celebrity's new CC HH.
  2. Are you? Why wouldn't it? No change in the program. No difference if it's an upgraded alcoholic beverage or a bottle of water or water ever beverage that isn't covered under the CBP.
  3. Glad that requirement ended.
  4. And I was expressing my opinion. We don't chase the tier levels but enjoy the perks when we cruise. We do sleep around.
  5. The plus is if you elect not to get the AI then the CC HH drinks are a great perk/benefit. IMO Celebrity and RC have a lot better loyalty programs and not just for drinks.
  6. I'm aware of the military/veteran discount as I've received it on some of our RC cruises. Also I'm aware of police, fire fighter and senior discounts. I don't see where federal law enforcement officers and agents are listed on RCs website.
  7. Never heard of a discount for being a federal employee. I worked (retired) for the DOD/USAF/CSRS for 40 years.
  8. Never any pressure to book on the first day. We already know what, when and where. I tell the future cruise agent all the details. We book early and want the OBC, reduced deposit. ,
  9. Rain. If you want another brand you will pay the difference plus 20% gratuity.
  10. Add complementary bag of Wash n Fold as a laundry perk for Platinum to the OPs wish list.
  11. And that great sound of freedom. I hear it just about everyday.
  12. Looking forward to our September 2024 Alaska cruise on the Edge and booked a DPV. Picked the cruise for the itinerary.
  13. Agree. We've done that itinerary with Celebrity when they were offering the 14/15 day itineraries.
  14. No Starbucks. Answer to your question for future cruises. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/do-onboard-starbucks-locations-accept-starbucks-gift-cards-as-payment Yes. The DL is on deck 14.
  15. Something new you'll have to look forward to on your next cruise. 🍻
  16. We aren't sea day fans. The more port days the better. No matter the itinerary.
  17. We've always receive a bottle of wine for booking the first day. Last one on the Apex was a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc.
  18. IMO, they would be breaking the rules. Pay for it themselves...😂 I doubt that. Now some pours might be a little more generous by some bar tenders.
  19. I always forget mine. I even forget it the last time I went to the VA for my blood draw and physical. I'll add it to our pre-cruise checkoff list. Thanks.
  20. Got it. Enjoy your wine with your friends. 🍷
  21. That's a CC perk/benefit. No matter where/how you book a cruise.
  22. Reduced deposits. OBC. Amount is determined by length of cruise and stateroom category.
