  1. If the app lets you book reservations, I would do it. But based on our experience in March, no. When you first board the ship go to the MDR that is open and speak with the Maitre D with your requests. Ours were honored.
  2. Our cruise was March. I choose AT with 6:PM reservations when I first booked the cruise. When we boarded the ship to check out the dining and our reservations we were advised by the Maitre D at that time the all 4 MDRs were now AT with no time reservations. Pick a dining room and show up. With all of that we still had the same table at 6 PM time every evening in the Cosmopolitan. The MD on the first day of the cruise was very accommodating with our requests for the entire cruise. His only request was we be at the MDR NLT 6 PM for the table to be held. The MD put our name, table number and time in the computer so the host would know when we arrived and printed out our ticket. That's what we did with the four different menus.
  3. We were in a DPV on the Apex. The view is less than a traditional balcony, and the balcony is smaller. Neither bothered us. We booked a future cruise on the Edge and doing another DPV. We selected the same deck and stateroom number (7118). We were able to check out an IV stateroom while on the Apex and glad we had the DPV. Based only on our personal preference.
  4. We never received a card in our stateroom with an assigned dining room or time. We requested the dining room, time and table location when we first boarded the ship. The menus are not exactly the same for each of the 4 dining rooms. Each had their own specialty items (American, Mediterranean/Greek, French and Italian) along with the same thing the other restaurants offered.

  6. I book onboard but make final payment online. No issues.
  7. Color doesn't matter. As long as the sail date, cabin number are correct. The letter designator is a reference to the luggage loading and delivery station closest to the location of your stateroom.
  8. Depends on the class of ship. E class doesn't do SD/ATD reservation and no longer has TD.
  9. Agree. In 2019 I believe (?) we were docked at Terminal 30 which required a free shuttle ride into downtown Quebec. In 2022 we were docked at Terminal 21/22. Walk off and walk on. Much nicer terminal and very convenient to downtown Quebec. On the 2019 and 2022 Summit NE/Canada cruises we had one kid on each cruise. Anyway enjoy the Summit.
  10. If you have the opportunity to go out on the helipad (by invitation) when cruiseing up the Saint Lawrence river I would suggest doing it. Great views and lots of fall colors along the way. Lots of great Kodak moments. Champagne (sparkling wine), mimosas and OJ was flowing. We did the NE/Canada cruise on the Summit September 2019 and September 2022. Agree with others about the post revolutionized Summit.
  11. We've got the same floor and stateroom (7118) booked for a future cruise on the Edge. We had no complaints concerning the DPV stateroom or the balcony.
  12. Pick the dining room and time you want and show up. You can also request menus from the other 3 you aren't in and order from all 4 MDRs menus.
  13. Looks like I've got some catching up to do. Or just ask a little kid. 😁
  14. Unless your in the gym or the thermal suites. Great aft views from the Sunset bar, Edan bar if your on the ramp and the Edan restaurant.
  15. Your title to your thread is inaccurate. Not true concerning "any Celebrity cruises". Shore excursions are available for both our future cruises. One is a Caribbean cruise and the other is an Alaska cruise. Using my laptop.
  16. That's MR. Grumpy to you and stay off my lawn!! 😂
  17. Been there done that! Luckily I was able to go around her and our booking was handled by her supervisor going forward. Do it sooner rather than later as your sail date is quickly approaching. You may not think so. 😉 BTW, welcome to CC. 🍻
  18. When is your cruise? A good TA would handle your request. Call RC and ask. If RC can't call the TA back or someone above her.
  19. We did the Western Caribbean on the Apex in March. First time on a E class ship. We really like the ship, entertainment, walking track, food and our DPV stateroom.
  20. If you book a RC cruise while on Celebrity you will get RCs reduced deposit and any other specials that RC is running at that time for that specific cruise. You will also receive your CAS booking offers, like balcony discounts.
