  1. If more and more people keep bragging about vaping in their cabin and tell others the cabin attendant basically has said, no problem maybe eventually RC will get wind of it (pun intended) and do something about it. Loose lips sink ships. For now, outta sight, outta mind.
  2. They have a right to say what they want positive or negative and if it bothers you ignore their post(s) or put them on your CC ignore list (3 dots, upper right hand corner) and all that goes away. If someone wants to rain on my parade, so be it. Doesn't diminish that fact we had a great cruise. If the CC mod squad feels it's outside of the CC guidelines they will remove the post or shut down the thread. Been going on since I've been a CC member.
  3. Exactly. Everyones threshold of pain is different. Over the years of cruising and being a long time member of Cruise Critic I've learned to pick and choose. Take the good with the bad. There are still a few posters on CC that post some very helpful info and others have cruised on and never returned. I like to read and respect all the positive and negative opinions and experiences of others. And everyone has that right to post those on CC. But in no way would I ever let those positive and negative opinions and experiences influence our decisions. Our glasses are always full and always wear our rose colored glasses. Of course I'm only speaking for myself and don't expect anyone on CC to agree with me. IMO, the CC mod squad does a good job ensuring we all aren't stepping out of line. 😇
  4. So many great bars. Hogs Breath and Captain Tony's...
  5. We had 6:00 PM TD on both legs of our March 2022 B2B cruise on the Explorer.
  6. In your case it does. Why does it bother you what others say.
  7. Hang around for awhile you'll get use to all the different opinions. Just roll with it. Thin skinned isn't good.
  8. We've switched back to early (6:PM) TD.
  9. All personal preference. I have both but use paper. I don't want to be that person holding up the line due to operator error or phone issues. Also print our luggage tags and put them on our luggage prior to leaving the pre cruise hotel.
  10. I would venture to say, it's no longer an issue.
  11. I've seen signs saying 45 minutes. In my experiences, it's not enforced. Possibly time of day would also factor in if some one was actually monitoring the gym equipment use.
  12. We use ours a lot when road tripping. We saw a park ranger take the pass away from the occupants in the car in front of us at the east entrance to Yellowstone this past summer and made the car do a u-turn away from the entrance. The park ranger told us they were using a family members pass. They were too young to fool the park ranger. The pass owner is put in their system so that person can not reapply. Kudos to the park ranger. Also disabled Veterans can apply thru the VA for a free lifetime pass.
  13. Like anything being sold on the ship I'm not interested in. No thank you. Have a good day.
  14. Another reason we always book flights the day before the cruise.
  15. Depends on when you show up. Show up at your pre scheduled time. If you are too early and the doors aren't open you'll stand outside. All our cruises out of SJ have gone smoothly. Pre and post covid. If the ship isn't ready for boarding, there is a seating area inside the terminal. RC and NCL use different terminals so that isn't an issue.
  16. Since you only quoted me, it was an assumption on your part.
  17. Just a comment. Wrong assumption as it's not a bother. We cruise both RCG lines. I don't care why and you don't know why!
  18. Celebrity doesn't have you check out or check in towels. No matter if staying on the ship or leaving the ship. Stateroom attendants will usually will leave pool towels in the stateroom if it's a port day. Something that makes you say, hmmmm. 🤔
  19. That would be acceptable to me as I would still have towels to turn in and not be faced with a charge for towels that were removed and not replaced by the cabin attendant. But I still prefer I turn them in no matter wet or dry. My responsibility.
