  1. They did report to their CC, as clearly stated in their opening post...
  2. This video shows exactly what the set-up will be for 4. As you can see, very different from the Mini-suite photo above. Yes, this is enchanted, but the set-up is exactly the same for all Royal class ships. The only thing different is the color scheme. Regal will be golds with some navy blue.. https://youtu.be/76qsqMA-f5I
  3. That is not a Deluxe Balcony. That is a photo of the mini-suite set up. The Deluxe Balcony has a 2 person "love seat" type sofa and is a pullout sofa bed, not a flip over as shown above. The sofa bed in the Deluxe Balcony does obstruct access to the balcony when it's pulled out, as does the Pullman berth which pulls down over the sofa bed, oriented the same way - not as shown above but aligned with the sliding door . I'm depth description here (yes, an old review but nothing's changed) https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2000561-pics-needed-regal-deluxe-balcony-with-4-persons/
  4. Try Pigeon Island. 30 or so minutes north, national Park with hikes, beach, ruins, two restaurants, absolutely lovely spot, easy to fill an afternoon and be back in plenty of time for sail away. Or, after the park, go into Rodney Bay for sunset at Spinnakers and some appetizers, then back to ship.
  5. The stand-alone beverage packages do not have to be purchased by all passengers on a cabin. One can purchase and the others not. Or they can purchase different packages. Princess has never required all passengers on a cabin to buy a package or no one can This is in reference to the Fare pricing bundled packages, and is correct - it is not not applicable when buying a buying a beverage package on a stand-alone basis. ______________ Yet another instance of Princess bungling naming. Prior examples being mini-suites - when there's no suite perks, Medallion, MedallionClass, MedallionNet, and now Princess Plus and Premier for both the stand-alone beverage packages and the Fare bundles. It's ridiculous - there's so many ways they could have named it differently..
  6. Reduit is a very popular typical Caribbean beach. $35usd for a cab ride there, for up to 3 persons.. chairs and umbrellas are $20 for 2/1. Spinnakers, St Lucia Yacht Club, Seagrapes all beachfront at the area you'll be dropped off. Bathrooms are free at Spinnakers if you're eating or drinking there. Same for Yacht Club and Seagrapes. There's Liz the Rotu Lady wandering the beach for outstanding roti. Marie's Fish Shack is at the south end of the beach, wicked rum punch . Splash Park through Bay Gardens if you want to climb and bounce around in the ocean. Watersports for hire. Bay Gardens also has a cruise day pass that includes lunch, transfers and splash park passes. Going independent, you'll get more time at the beach, etc..
  7. There's the Concierge lounge on Royal class ships (Sky is one). Specialty coffees from machine, sodas and water available, snacks throughout the day, happy hour with free wine, Concierge for a few hours a day. Small and kinda dark, but there. Suites on Princess are not comparable to Suites on Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, etc. Not as many amenities, very few private areas, etc. Which is a bonus for non-suite guests, but can be a letdown for those used to the services and amenities of Celebrity and the like.. It's nice and you're mainly getting the extra room, etc.- not the extra restaurant, lounge, butlers, amenities, etc of other lines..
  8. I added 2022 to my search and found a fair few Patterns from various Caribbean itineraries on different ships. Activities are essentially the same across the different ships for similar itineraries. This will give you a good idea for Caribbean activities. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2832302-some-enchanted-evening-a-pictorial-review-of-the-enchanted-princess-in-the-southern-caribbean/
  9. Google. Truly. Quick Google search of Regal Princess Patter brings up hundreds of hits..
  10. Most will say Caribe, as there's cabins above and below versus Emerald with Vista Lounge right below.. Us - Emerald as it's a quick flight of stairs up/down to Promenade deck, etc. We've never had any noise from Vista Lounge, but then, we're night owls, and at the lounge when things are happening.
  11. It's a catamaran. Almost certainly with Endless Summer or Carnival Sailing or SeaSpray Cruises.
  12. Duplicate post: https://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/topic/2903204-pigeon-island-national-park/#comment-64554078
  13. Loads of people visit PI daily, whether ship guests, stay over guests or locals It's $35usd one way by taxi for up to 3 persons. Takes anywhere from 25-50 minutes depending on traffic, leave plenty of time for return - only one road! Hiking, swimming, ruins, park area, two restaurants inside the park Enjoy.
  14. You have 13 hours (although disembarkation probably won't start til at least 8am, so really 10-11 hours) Very very easy to do Soufriere your, not an issue Serenity Vacations Cosol Island Man Taxi and Tours Explore St Lucia Real St Lucia Experience And so forth..
  15. Yes, the old Regal was retired around 2006/7.. And new Regal, much larger, etc started sailing 2014.. Suite perks are linked above. These do not apply to the misnamed "mini-suite".
  16. If you'd followed the link, you would have seen that the chart is actually from the Regal. So, yeah - good bet that Regal has this upgrade chart! 🤦🏻‍♀️
  17. The medallions themselves don't show anything. Your account, when you rock up to a bar or order anything via the app (or phone or TV or in person) will reflect your package. You can verify it's all correct on your account via the cruise personalizer travel summary - consider printing it out and bringing it with you or screenshotting it for reference just in case there's any issue aboard (which their likely won't be, but you never know). No problem at all .
  18. FWIW - we were aboard Dec 2-10 and food was good to great, with very few fails. We ate buffet, lido grill and burgers, Alfredo's, room service, Sabatini's, and MDR... So, all over! The new salmon cake with poached egg and hollandaise was not great in MDR - egg was hard, not poached (no runny yolk!), and not enough hollandaise at all - but they're trying, it was new, along with a few other items. The crab risotto was an absolute fail. Looked like cream of wheat, had zero flavor and couldn't find the crab to save our lives.. Everything else was good to some great items - typical Princess food. Alfredo's was same as always. Lido pizza was a little strange, as the first two or three days - they must have had some more European style pepperoni left over from the Europe season cuz about halfway through, it was back to the more American style (thin and greasy as opposed to the thicker cut to start). It was tasty both ways. We ate in the buffet multiple tims, lunch and dinners - typical. The Indian dishes were the best, and there was some disconnect between what was listed in Patter as theme night and what was actually being served, lol. German night was great. Caribbean night was good. Mongolian/Oriental night was good.. The one breakfast I made it to had tray with eggs, scrambled, omelette station, etc - all the typical stuff.. made MDR for lunch one day, eggs Benedict was good, eggs poached well, etc and the philly cheese steak was as good as usual.. Sabatini's was good to very good... Overall, we could see the cutbacks in the smaller menu options, but found good good to great, as usual.. Dinner ran around 75-90 minutes or so, just fine for us - we eat later, don't bother with the theater except a few specific things, etc. We enjoy a leisurely meal .. And room service - was pretty good, for what we ordered. The chicken salad sandwich was great, Tina was very good, for whatever reason my 50 year old friend was obsessed with the peanut butter and jelly! 🤷🏻‍♀️ International Cafe had some very good sandwiches and some that were questionable - have no idea why there were s so so many "cheese" sandwiches, basically bread and brie. It was weird. Lol. Pound cake was good but s touch dry, cookies were great, etc.. I wouldn't worry - it's fine, with some absolute wins and some few fails, and most in between, as usual.. they're still short-staffed, supply chains are still completely whacked - and they're truly trying.. as the new menus get rolled out and the chefs get more familiar with them, it'll be better and better... We're back aboard Regal in January, and are looking forward to the new MDR items, etc Enjoy..
  19. Here's A104 on Diamond, sister ship to Sapphire. Again, you can see, balcony wraps around. https://youtu.be/swf_WUL7IOA
  20. They curve around the side. It's sort of like two balconies with the adjoining door open between them - the dining balcony is on the side by the living room and then through the adjoining door to the massive main front area with lounge chairs, etc. Which is great as you can have visitors over for dinner or lunch or drinks and enjoy the sitting area and dining area and not have them into the bedroom or that balcony area at all .. https://youtu.be/mudiqPjW0po
  21. Honestly, after reading the descriptions of those two, hands down, Rum Taster's. You'll see many of the same sights in Castries as the Historical one (Morne, Governor General's, view points, Marigot view point, etc), Eudovic's studio is impressive and the rum is great! Overall, a more interesting tour, IMO...
  22. None of the Princess ships have brought back the pop-up Crab Shack. And no word at all whether it'll return. It's not listed as a dining option on the website - which leads ine to believe it's no longer a thing.
  23. Nope. And Royal is under new management, now Mystique by Royalton.
