The irony is when Pay Rest first opened on Royal in late 90's the $5 or $10 Cover at Johnny R, Chops, ect was the Gratuity, and was no additional 18% either

Already are if too many a Sailing, think it's 50, was part of the release. I first made Diamond in 90's we had access to CL, was first on/off Ship also. Benefit's been going away for yrs now, C&A program too successful. Though as said before with the SOLO 340+ I get enough discount that like every 3rd or 4th Cruise is Free. Long as this stays I can live with other changes

First Cruise with Kiddies, 8, 5 and 2 along with Mom/Me we all used the 2 Bunk Beds. Mom and 2yr old in one, 8yr old was booked in with GMA was stayed with us. In OV we had nice view and space between them. Back in the 90s was hard get 4pass cabin let alone 5

When we had 2 Pullmans as shown we split the regular/Lower bed making it into 2 Bunk Beds. Lot more room walk around and between this way

Diamond Plus - No More Concierge/Suite Lounge Access
ONECRUISER replied to DaKahuna's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Not surprised. The arrangement has been used for yrs with Diamond and D+ where on almost all my Cruises that are longer 10+ niters and Repo's have the Crown Lounge and 2 other Lounges for 5-8pm. Though feel bad for the non upper Tier Cruises that loose access to these Lounges during these hours -
Diamond Plus - No More Concierge/Suite Lounge Access

I remember when first made Diamond, the Top Level then. We were first on/off Ship(besides Wedding Parties), meet with Capt and senior Staff each Cruise and had access to CL as was no DL back then. Program became too successful 25yrs ago there was usually 8-10 Diamonds on the newest Ships on most popular sailings. So doesnt surprise me first Diamonds now D+ loosing access to CL. That said 4/5/6 Drinks along with other free C&A drinks is Kool but along with SOLO 340+ Discount saves me thousands each year. -

Royal use to always put Pool Towels in Cabins before Port Stop yrs ago, one things that was done away with. Though few months ago was surprised Attendant put towels in Cabin nite before our Labadee stop. Daughter/Family also got them same nite for different RA & Cabin... I remember when it was lot less. Was approx $4.75 per person, per day. Think was $2.00 for Room Attendant, $2.00 for our Waiter and $.75 for Asst Waiter. Was no other Hotel Services $$$. Anyone remember what exact amount was 35yrs ago? My onboard Bills and Royal Brochures are packed in a couple Tubs in AZ. -
Why some waiters are able to bring the food so quick

Nope, after first nite I'm usually in and out in 25-30 minutes. Always one the first 10 walking into the Main Dining. This even 5-6yrs ago -

True, though I don't mind either way. Had 5 Towel Animals in my Cabin by end of my Cruise last month. One time on B4B ended up with 8 on them by time I got off last nite -

More Cabins for them to do. In past they'd have 8 Cabins, now already double
