  1. Agree, Booked all my Cruises online Royal Site last 5 yrs, currently have 2 Booked with some OBC available from Royal. Also had 1-2 with OBC Cruises I did in 2022. All from Promo when Booked
  2. This was the regular Questions, was B4B and on other Sailings 3 months ago 3 of the 4 other legs were not available on App til day on Sailings
  3. Seen couple Cruises Canceled less the 12hrs after Due Date. Then 6yrs ago had one 13n Repo Due 90 days out, cant remember something happened think was a Death in Family or Family Emergency and was going Cancel but forgot call or cancel online. Surprised when 2 weeks before Sailing got reminder email that I'd loose my long desired Cabin and Cruise. Circumstances changed by then, paid Final at 13 days before Cruise and went.
  4. Agree, gotten worse last couple yrs. Letter you to take 3-4 days now 6-8 going same place cross Country. Then local, wow, Major City and State Capital no sorting anymore. Mailing a Bday Card what use to be Town to City next to us goes to another 2 Cities and back, 5-6 Days to go what is only 10mile away and Card went 120+ miles
  5. Yeah a Generational thing. Until I took over Bills yr ago Mom still wrote them and finally talked her into getting a Debit Card 2yrs ago. Until I took over her Bills she was still Budgeting by monthly putting cash in Envelopes marked with Xmas Fund, Light Bill, Taxes, etc. I drove her pay her Bills in person and walk in Credit Union at least 3 times a week to WD cash or transfer funds from Savings to Checking. Younger 55yr old Sister still writes Checks for everything, can't figure that one out. Then 2 my Adult Kids dont even carry cash.
  6. Irony is for my Oct 2022 Cruises app was available for me to answer these Health Questions in August, 2+ months before my Cruises
  7. Yup over 10% Home Schooled, then my Kids and Grand Daughters attend year round School. Get 5+ weeks for Xmas Break, 2+ each for Spring and Fall. My Niece doesn't go back until this week. Then anytime around Holiday MLK, ect. Over Presidents Day my Kids also always had mid winter Break week... Then anyone been on Cruise Critic for years knows the Jan Kosher Holiday along with another young group of girls traveling Celebrating on Cruises this time of year is nothing new
  8. Yeah 3 yrs being careful taking Care of Mother with Health issues. Sold the home and put her in Retirement home, staying with Daughter, SIL and Grand Daughter since September. Spent 9wks on Cruises in 2022 and no issues, Vax/Boosted myself like Daughter and Son in Law but they brought home to me from their Cruise, oh well. I'm oldest of 10 and besides Mother and one Aunt only ones hadnt had it yet. My little Brother cant win, 5 shots and still CV+ three times though he has Health issues
  9. Yeah she knew was most likely sinus infection but they just gave her CV test anyway, she self quarantine for 24hrs, Royal gave her another CV neg test at the Cabin and gave the 3 of them $$$ off for the 2 days. I wasnt with them and we all had CV month before when she brought it home to us from another Cruise. Week before that she'd had the Flu(tested positive), brought home from trip to Universal Studios. 3 year no illnesses and she got all 3 in less then 6wks. My CV was first time I'd been sick in over 5yrs
  10. Nice, Lucky! Be while for me, building and will be settling into a new House so no Cruises for me until Fall. Though will make up for lost time with Cruises Booked Sept-Jan, Including my first sailings over Xmas and New Years...
  11. Daughter went in Nov, sick and Cough. No charge
  12. Being first in the door fill my 2 plate Meal and a Dessert dish same time. Do miss days when Royal WindJammer had large Cafeteria style Trays... Not really a Germaphobe, was just overly cautious. Until last Sept was caring for high risk Parents since 2007. Cancer, Emphysema, Heart Disease/Failure. Never wanted bring anything home where a simple cold put a Parent in the Hospital
  13. Typically only do longer Cruises, $450 down each and sucks when have 8-10 Cruises Booked at a time. Canceled loose $100 but got rest in FCC. Spoiled with liberal Covid Cancel Policy with the 100% Refunds but gone for good now and usually cost of 300-400+ extra for my Cruises to be Refundable and I never pay that. Taking my first Cruises on Holland America Cruise's, nice with 18nite Hawaii and a 30nite Panama Canal, Booked at only $25 down each. Wish Royal ran specials like this
  14. Been reading on Cruise Critic for 25+ yrs myself about Noro on Ships. The way it went back to self serve so quick think going stay this way. When gets to certain percent illness the Ship will go to status with more often cleaning and Crew serving. Dont think cases are likely high on this Ship, as said passengers just got on yesterday. That said even Pre-CV I never touched tables, Chairs, Doors and haven't been on Royal Elevator since 2002. I like stairs. When do eat in WJ I'm always first in and first to touch utensils...
  15. Interesting, have read opposite on here , also did B5B on her myself with no issues
  16. Tis the Season... Happens. But would have to be Crew, Passengers just got on yesterday.
  17. Ships, Oasis and Allure been around while, I remember watching Video for first Sailing on Oasis them placing Plants/Planters.
  18. Congrats!... Did B5B before-over-after Easter from March-May 2022. Well run, Cleanest Ship been on in couple Decades. Many like the larger busy Ships, not me, average 45nites yr on this Class last decade. Not say it's Boring, just not crowded. Most Ships been back to running over 100%, Cruises on this Class I've only ever experienced 1750-2050 Passengers, with few Family/Kids. This even Pre-CV. Enjoy!
  19. 😁 ...Ha, Yeah! Traveling all over last 41yrs. Some regions it's Soda, other's Pop, Soda Pop or as you said Coke. My drink is actually Diet Dew as I've been carrying on Royal Cruises for 35yrs
  20. 3 Ports last yr counted my 12 Soda Pops, sure the workers can count to 2 😁 One Port few months ago watched a Family of 8 or 9 was each carrying Max Drinks that is allowed per Cabin, Saw them taking Water, Soda and looked like Wine back to their Vehicle
  21. Use to do my best work on the Balcony. But back then none of the Ships had dividers to open
  22. Started Cruising in 80's was normal see at least 2 Dozen passengers o each sailing carrying on Golf Bags. Back then you could hit balls off one the open Decks
