  1. Yes it is and more then I ever got for missed Ports. Usually only received free Drinks for 2hrs at most. Once did get $30 OBC: "50% refund of their fare AND 25% FCC....
  2. No problem, understand, just giving you heads up what been experiencing since start up. Had great time with my Wee Ones, youngest turned 2 on her first Cruise and my Boy 4. Back then Royal would give Parent a Pager for Royal Adventure Ocean when at least one the Kids attending was under 5, that was nice for me a Single Parent and missed now though I never was far or go ashore w/o them...
  3. Glad for the Cat...and your Mom. My Brother and his Family have a 23yr old Cat, I didnt even know they could live so long!... Was taking my 3 young Kids(3, 6 & 10) on first Trip/Cruise we'd ever been on without their Mother. Well 36hrs before we leave my Oldest(10yrs) pet Hamster got sick-shallow/slow breathing and in a Coma like state. My Daughter wanted us to take it to the Vet in middle of the nite and Cancel the Cruise. It passed away couple hrs later and we went on the Trip. Irony is after getting off Cruise we planned on staying in Florida another day but at last minute got cheap Red Eye Flight getting home at 8:30am on 9/11/2001.
  4. As said above since you want early as possible do Early Traditional Dining. Depending on Ship and Sailing this can be sometime between 5 & 6pm. Otherwise many times now My Time Dining starts at 6:45pm the earliest
  5. 13yr old Grand Daughter ate them for Breakfast few hrs ago...water right out the Tap!
  6. Many Videos on Utube with Cruise Ship Crew eating many items in there Cabins. Noodles, all that takes is Hot Tap water
  7. They gave me the Paper Dry cleaning bag to fill last couple Cruises. Funny thing is I always made contest out of fitting as much into stretch/plastic Bag. Always did well, would come back in 2 FULL paper bags
  8. Yeah those Jewel Fall Cruises have been Cheap for Months now. Been watching myself, not changed much. Still a Deal though for those not aware
  9. Yup, allowed 12 count 17oz Bottles, so I bring 12- 16.9oz Diet Dews its what I always bring in my Back Pack, have for over 12yrs now
  10. Agree, ice melted and warmed up fast. There has been at least 5-6 Models last 8yrs
  11. Seen both in last 7 Months. New colorful ones hold more liquid then the other ones shown on here, so a plus. Me and my Daughter like the even older ones from 8+ yrs ago, they sealed tight, no leaks and could put Hot drinks in them.
  12. Agree, lot of Amusement Park Rides same. Along with safety issues it could make for a tight uncomfortable fit.
  13. Weight Limit on Northstar is for Emergency Equipment and Harness if they had to lower you down if it was stuck up position. Havent heard about this happening in long time though remember once or twice on some the earlier Cruises yrs ago they did have to lower some Passengers
  14. Thanks, had forgotten that. Starting to take my Grand Daughters on Cruises, oldest Loves Steak but it's been over 20yrs since I took my Kids to Chops.
  15. Same, even my Bed looks like that. Haven't had AM Room Attendant in about 5yrs. Very rare my Bed isnt made at Home either, been Decades. Mom's 76 and never once seen hers not Made. Won't see Dirty Dishes outside my Cabin door either, I put them by someone else's
  16. Yup, also quite a few different Sailings yet to come to finish us off and they just happen to be ones I'm waiting/watching for. This includes another TA or more, Repo's, Long and Seasonal Caribbean's, plus maybe couple PC's. Were running at 606 Different Royal Sailings available to Book right now, some years we've hit almost 900 in the end though dont see that many happening this yr
  17. Thanks, thought so. As Ships are being kept longer in a year over half of all Royal Ships will be 20 yrs old or more.
  18. Then isn't a Dry Dock every 2.5 yrs after Ship is 20yrs?
  19. Taking months to release all Dates is Normal. I usually Book one the Last of these in April-May
  20. Last dozen year's 95% time only been on Longer and Repo Cruises where even over Thanksgiving at most have about 25-30 kids, other dates even less. But in my tucked away Aft/Corner Radiance Class Cabin not a Single Soul Teen or Adult walks by my Cabin
  21. Under that YT Video a Poster said this 6 days ago: Topofthelinet 6 days ago: I just got off this ship 2 days ago. I was incredibly disappointed by Royal Caribbean. It's a very nice renovated ship. The ships capacity is 2700 and we had 800 people, you would think it would have better service. So I asked a CC Member that was on that Sailing if they heard how many passengers were on that Sailing. They responded: "At the Top Tier Event the Captain said the ship was completely full & half of the cruisers were Crown & Anchor members"
  22. Made Diamond in the 90's and also don't Drink... Long as no changes to the C&A SOLO 340+ I'm ok...
  23. Yup, Saw the info my Attendants Clipboard
  24. Not all Cruises have been released, though also in Summertime there is less Ships in US Ports. Unknown when all will be available, can be late as Spring when last are
  25. Did NCL couple times, one small things I enjoyed was the Pepsi Bottle Vending Machines. Like my Mt Dew, have had Carry it on Royal for 3 Decades. As said 2 Cruises on Holland myself, 18 and 12 niters was only $25 down during Black Friday(week) and both are in Suites.
