  1. There are plenty of spots to spread out and get away from others on Cococay. In fact some people may want to get away from the people that go to Coco Beach Club LOL
  2. In a word: No For the steak and lobster lunch only I would say it is worth $39 and maybe as high as $79. Outside of that what does Coco Beach Club offer? 1. A beach that that doesn't have a sandy bottom, clear blue water, or anything special compared to the other beaches on the island. In fact, some of the other beaches are definitely better. 2. A small pool - There is a huge one right in the middle of the island 3. The restaurant - this really is good 4. A towel station with some nice fluffy towels that could be located closer to the pool and beach 5. Upsell cabanas 6. A nice sitting area with tables 7. A small bar that is not too special I've been there twice and would be hard pressed to go back there.
  3. Not to mention the beach area at Coco Beach Club where these are at is not that great.
  4. Also, taking a short position on a stock and then bad rapping it doesn't guarantee results. 😉
  5. Double the highest "normal price" Royal was literally bragging about how much people were paying for cabanas on their last earnings call: Michael Bayley -- President and Chief Executive Officer: "So, Fred, it's Michael. Just to add one nugget of information to Jason's comments. We've seen -- really it's been an amazing response to our software and our communication and how we've been talking to the customers about experience. And just one nugget is that yesterday, we sold one -- just one of our overwater cabanas for one day for $4,000." Expect all of this stuff to go as high as people will pay for it.
  6. Just takes a couple of suckers to get taken by their self-appraised art in order to make a pile of cash. 😉
  7. You'll never convince me. LOL Shorting is the exact opposite of investing. 🙂 BTW, you never e-mailed me about your price tracking app. So sad. 😞
  8. It's legalized gambling. Shorting is not "investing". IDGAF what anyone says. It should be illegal. 😉
  9. What's wrong with Long Bay Beach Beef Island? I thought that place was awesome. 🙂
  10. We did an Aruba highlights tour with Eagle Beach through a cruise line and they parked the bus in a lot right near Coco Loco Beach Bar. (on Eagle Beach) Our tour gave us a couple of hours there.
  11. Hogwash 🙂 Book a tour with https://www.cherylbahamastaxiandtours.com/ and go see all kinds of cool stuff
  12. I can live with the $40 money grab but this is the part that sounds the best to me: "From October 25, the requirement for pre-arrival and pre-departure testing, arrival testing, and day-four testing for travellers will be dropped."
  13. Free. (at least it was when I was there) There are places to buy food and drink so I would likely do that if I was staying there for several hours.
  14. Bamboo Blu is one option https://bambooblujamaica.com/
  15. Because it is a window vs a door that leads to a balcony 😉
  16. Yup, the Captain locks it when it is raining, during cleaning, and when they are refueling. When you see this it kind of sucks :(
  17. Infinite Veranda rooms are like having an Ocean View cabin where the window opens. Sitting in that area with the window down is not the same experience as sitting on a real balcony. (not even close) I was glad I tried it once but never again. Hopefully there are a very limited number of them on Icon of the Seas.
  18. I have eaten at Chops, Jamie's Italian, Hooked, and Izumi without issue. Izumi (not Teppanyaki) was a lunch and had very limited options though. Dish I had was good though. Chops would be my favorite of all of those.
  19. I cannot tell you specifically about Anthem but I have been to Johnny Rockets on Adventure and Allure. Both had gluten free buns. Both made me gluten free fries but it took longer than the regular ones because they had to fry them in another fryer. Also, I could get milkshakes gluten free on Adventure but not on Allure or Symphony. They have been really good at handling it and making sure you don't get glutened.
  20. Maybe you didn't read all of my post. Price was just one factor. I did pay more to upgrade seats which clearly wasn't the cheapest option. 🙂
  21. One tip I would also add: Before booking NCL Air go to Google flights and search for all the possible flights for your cruise. You will see the worst possible flights and the pricing. In our case the worst flights were acceptable and the pricing was a lot more than we were paying. NCL doesn't have their own airplanes so you are getting booked on one of the commercial carriers. 😉
  22. I've heard all the negative stuff about NCL Air but the price was just too cheap to pass up for our November NCL Joy cruise to Bermuda. We paid $298 with the BOGO sale. We asked for a 2 day deviation (early) and they gave us back $25 for doing that. So the total airfare we paid to NCL was $273 which is the equivalent of $136.50 per person. We figured at that price we could afford to completely purchase new flights if they were so horrible that we wouldn't accept them. We have almost no direct flights from our airport (MEM) except for Atlanta and a couple of other cities so I was expected to have long connecting flights and a 12-15 hour day. 64 days before the cruise we received the flight info from NCL. We were booked on the 6:28am flight on United that is a nonstop flight to Newark. The return flight is at 9:06pm from Newark. We were able to login into the United website and see our flights. Seats had been assigned on the departing flight but not on the return flight but we were able to immediately choose seats on the return flight. Flights were economy so they included carry-ons and assigned seats. Baggage fees for our checked bags were to be $35 per person per flight so $35+$35+$35+$35 = $140 in baggage fees. United is now offering "bundles" of options and we choose one that included premium economy seats and checked bags for $121 per person per flight. So we booked that for $484 total. Add in the $273 we paid up front we are in for a total of $757 or $378.50 per person. We could have stayed in the regular economy seats and been in for a total of $413 total or $206.50 per person. We made the decision that we wanted the roomier seats and $378.50pp is still a good deal from MEM. Sometimes the prices are so high here that we drive to Nashville to take flights for 50% less (or more). The current price today of the economy flight direct from United is $805 and $1124 for economy plus. That price does not include checked bags. So the totals would be $945 and $1264 respectively. So we saved $507 vs booking on our own. If we would have stayed in the economy seats our savings would have been $532 and we would only have put out $140 more. So in this case we're happy with the flights and the pricing. We still have to take the flights but the 2 day deviation makes me not worry about delays. Hopefully everything goes well in regards to weather and flight cancellations. 🙂
  23. ALWAYS early as possible The day the cruise is listed for sale is the best time
