One can never be “overdressed” on Cunard. Consider a full round trip Crossing Voyage on QM, as there is an unofficial dress code (regardless of published) being “Formal” every evening except for the embarkation and pre disembarkation evenings. Think one would love this. Book onboard?

Link to one’s suggestion and exchanges. Just a nice place to stay and they value one’s custom. They also can offer a day pass for a post cruise pre-flight stay. A short taxi ride from airport and cruise terminal

Last chance saloon…Has one visited Karibuni or Yellow Beach and found Seaweed? Both are on Pinel and reached by a very short ferry ride. Space is limited on both so best to book in advance.
-
The actual date/month has nothing to do with the appearance of seaweed. It is due solely to storms and very heavy swells offshore. But if wishing to avoid Orient in April, then there is always Rainbow on Grand Case. It will not disappoint any discerning guest.

Many enjoy Little Divi Beach/Hotel…. Short Cab ride there… Beds approx $20 per set and use facilities if buying drinks etc.. link to discussion….

For something different? Then it has to be…. https://adventureantigua.com/activities/the-xtreme-circumnav/ Adrenaline rush, sights, swim, lunch, drinks etc.. The best tour. Limited space, book early.

4 years ago it was North of $200 pp, but work on $250 pp now. Recommend Catherine’s cafe for a great beach day. If not wishing a beach then Sheer Rocks. Both excellent and give a more personal service and memorable day.

One has been told, If it rains, then for 4/5 days after, the sewage outfall and or overflow, will pump out the effluent. This then takes 7/14 days to dissipate by tidal flow. But some items are more dense and will loiter longer. For peace of mind, go to another beach. One recommendation is Coco on Orient or Rainbow on Grand Case.

Walked? Is the Taxi Rank outside the Station no longer in existence? -
If not, one’s stateroom has a refrigerator which can be emptied to store one’s stock.

Can only suggest a Hotel Day Pass, available at various price points. -
Think @carisbadbruin wishes to enjoy the experience and all venues (Theatre etc) that Cunard offers together, as a couple. Sadly, this will not be possible because of the mindset of her current husband. Hopefully, a gentleman will emerge from the Dark Side.

Seriously suggest the scooter question is asked directly to Cunard, by ‘phone and request their confirmations of allowed types etc be confirmed in writing. Seem to remember a past complaint on CC by scooter owners, because parking was not allowed outside their staterooms.

Plus Bars, public spaces etc, except the Winter Garden and like. You’re not going to experience everything that Cunard offers onboard. One’s enjoyment areas are somewhat reduced.

Don’t forget the purchase of Carnival Shares. Trading currently at about $10 per share, so the outlay will be approximately $1000, with the ROI for this single 7 night cruise will be roughly 10%. Some Cunarders actually achieved a ROI of 100% in a year. What other global stock can offer this? A no brainer. Don’t forget to book future 2023/24 cruises onboard, with the Cunard Fare. By taking the Cunard Fare, one is allowed to “move” one cruise to another (later - 2025?) without any penalty. Cunard Fare gives total flexibility and makes allowances for any unforeseen circumstances. Also receiving some nice OBC (aka Free Money)

One can bring onboard whatever one can carry (or by trolly or sack wheelbarrow) at embarkation. One has even rolled onboard a barrel of Rhum at Martinique. This caused much amusement. Then the same amounts apply to each visited port. Correct, only Duty Free liquor purchased from the onboard Duty Free is held until the penultimate day. Cigarettes and Cigars can be taken away immediately from onboard Duty Free Cunard treat their guests as responsible adults.
-
@MrsPeel55 Small tips….. Purchase all one’s duty free requirements spirits, tobacco etc asap, because there could be a sell-out of specific popular brands. Most newbies wait until the final days, then complain about the lack of stock. If wished, purchase a bottle of local wine, spirits or liqueur at each port to enjoy the sail away on one’s balcony.

@MrsPeel55 - There is no charge for any additional ‘Sides’. Select as many one wishes. Take the Sea Platter and Wagyu - But do reduce the consumption of the pre starter bread/olive oil, as one will find it quite filling. The Wine list is good, with a nice selection of specialty cocktails to suit all palates. The Virgin Cocktails are splendid, looking identical to the alcoholic ones. As this is one’s first time in the Verandah, be prepared to be surprised when asked select one’s ‘knife’ from the box presented. The steaks are cooked on a grill, but if wished, one can ask for a steak to be pan fried and butter basted. Enjoy…
