  1. I guess it depends on the weather. Ours in Tromso in July was outside, but it was a sunny evening.
  2. We did a cruise to Norway in July a couple of years ago. We had snow in Flam! We took lots of layers which worked well as the weather varied - it was warm & sunny in Bergen. No-one wore sundresses and sandals though. Our White Night was in Tromso - most people wore long sleeves and lots wore jackets on top. It was great though - still light at midnight!
  3. There are sodas in cans, no fountain drinks. Your fridge will have some in it & if you tell your cabin steward which ones you like, they will keep your fridge stocked up. The sodas in the fridge at pre included, even tho’ the alcohol there isn’t. All the bars have sodas in cans.
  4. We have cruised into Egypt 3 times with Azamara & they have always organised visas for everyone.
  5. You will need to collect it yourselves.
  6. We haven’t had any significant rain for weeks. Our grass lawn is looking very brown and dry as we don’t water it. We’re watering all our bedding plants & they’re looking pretty good. Its hot here today, (29C in the shade) but not as hot as other areas. They say it could get up to 40C on Tuesday.
  7. Here’s the spreadsheet link again https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15Deg-GaeZYLml8NN3PVwoh_jUkQ8QmYUe1wxnVAlODE/edit
  8. Just had a look at our October cruise. The ship is due to arrive in Aqaba at 8am and the first excursions start at 8:30 am. My memory tells me that you can disembark in many ports pretty much as soon as the ship has tied up (presuming it’s moored, not anchored with tendering to get ashore), so you may be OK, so long as the ship arrives on time. It does, though, depend on the port, as blag says. For instance Indian ports have a lot of bureaucracy to go through before you can get off and then you can get held up at the dock gates.
  9. No, this is one of the problems with Azamara, you can’t see your bookings, other than excursions, anywhere on your account. Did Azamara send you a receipt for your purchases? If not it might be a good idea to email or ring them to ask them to send you proof of your purchases. I had the same issue regarding my purchase of the Ultimate package. My Travel Agent contacted them and they emailed me a receipt as proof that I had purchased it.
  10. Good idea to post this on the roll call for your cruise.
  11. Try the Azamara Circle email address - I got a quicker answer from them.
  12. My husband had a tummy upset on Azamara & asked the medics for help. He was isolated in his cabin until the symptoms had stopped for 24 hours. He could order room service, but they would only serve him food on the medically approved list- plain chicken, plain potatoes, consommé soup & jelly. I decided to stay with him and could have anything I liked from room service.
  13. May be a good idea to get him to email you that this is the case.
  14. My travel agent daughter always tries first thing I the morning - 8:30 am or so. She finds this better.
  15. Confusing - it definitely says ”Transfer Pick Up Location Tronchetto, People Mover Final Stop” but then says the address is Piazzale Roma. May be worth forwarding these instructions to Azamara Circle & explaining that it is confusing, could they please help you to determine which end of the people mover is the pickup point. The other thing you could do is message TrumpyTours via the contact page on their website https://www.trumpytours.it/contact/
  16. It’s listed in shore excursions as a zero cost excursion.
  17. Our 29 October Quest cruise has an Azamazing evening too - it’s at a hotel in Aqaba.
  18. You’re welcome, but don’t forget it comes with a health warning because times have changed since it was initially put together and it is a compilation of everyone’s posts, so depends on Cruise Critic members posting information. Things do change over time, Azamara has new owners and of course COVID has changed a lot of things.
  19. Sorry about the misspelling - of course it should have said HOST Jazzbeau!
  20. Quite agree Hist Jazzbeau. Perhaps if there is an item here that sets of a dispute, one of those discussing it could set up a new topic and pursue the discussion there.
  21. I’ve added the electrical information posted above to the spreadsheet. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15Deg-GaeZYLml8NN3PVwoh_jUkQ8QmYUe1wxnVAlODE/edit
  22. It’s actually pretty simple. You can ask for a drink at any bar made with the included spirits E.g. Gin & tonic etc. In theory you should be able to get most cocktails made with the included spirits (but not a Brandy Alexander as there is no Brandy in the list of included spirits). As far as I’m aware the only extra alcohol you get in a suite is the bottle/ or 4 small bottles you get (mostly it’s 4 half bottles but there is a trial of giving only 1 x 1 litre bottle.
  23. The only drink related thing that comes with a suite is the spirits in your cabin, everything else is the same as any other stateroom.
  24. New page so here is the spreadsheet link again https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15Deg-GaeZYLml8NN3PVwoh_jUkQ8QmYUe1wxnVAlODE/edit
