  1. Looks like you had 2 dining rooms open for lunch! That's unusual. 👍
  2. Paul Chandler Burns was our CD in March and he and his team were awesome!!
  3. Enjoy! We’re doing the 14 day Circle Caribbean in February with some different ports. I look forward to reading about your experiences. Have a great cruise!
  4. Love to read about which excursion you took!
  5. If possible can you find out which days Planks and Steamers are open? I know they alternate, but I'm wondering which day has which one open (ie - Day 2 Steamers, Day 3 Planks).
  6. So, from those who know, that’s one for and one against. Anyone ordered food on the Emerald Sanctuary menu recently? Were you charged for delivery ?
  7. The food is free, but I'm not sure that delivery is free. Hence the initial post.
  8. Like I said, we have the Plus Package. Pretty sure food delivery isn't effected by what package you have or don't have.
  9. I've read that there's a $3.00 charge for food delivery in the Sanctuary. Is that per item or for the entire delivery (if you order multiple items)? Is there a charge for drink deliveries (we have the Plus Package)?
  10. Do they still charge $3 for food delivery in the Sanctuary? Is it $3 per delivery or per item?
  11. We don’t cruise until February and I ordered it about a month ago.
  12. Getting ours delivered. It's included in the Plus Package. Comes with a free lanyard or you can pay to upgrade your "holder"
  13. Thank you for the review. A little disheartening but I appreciate your honesty. Can I ask why the post of the empty hallway at 9am? I’m obviously missing something? Just realized you were probably showing no morning room cleaning…
  14. Wish they’d grace us poor Plus people with the actual names!
  15. I've read that the waiting onboard and not leaving still happens sometimes🤞.... not sure about Fort Lauderdale though....
  16. Not to "plug" another cruise line, but having "lived" it ..... Princess does the transition so so much better. Did a B2B on Princess right after our Rotterdam 31 days. Just like on HA, we were relegated to the main stage. But in this case one of the Entertainment crew was in charge. He was so much fun and did music trivia while we waited. We were disembarked by groups (instead of en masse). It was still a long process, but so much more pleasurable than HA's version. In 2024 we're doing a B2B on Princess followed by a B2B on Holland America. Only booked a Shore Excursion during the HA cruise.
  17. Yep, been there done that. Actually had to do it twice during our B2B2B cruises this year (31 days on Rotterdam). Very long, very boring (although the guy in charge of the transition did his absolute best). Gather in the main theater, wait and wait for everyone to get there, and then exit the ship. Go through the face recognition screening, wait and wait again to reboard. We're doing a B2B in 2024 and already booked a Fort Lauderdale shore excursion. Fool me once.
  18. You’re in BC though, right? Ontario doesn’t seem to be an issue so far. 🤞
  19. OP here with one last post about this. After a lot of time spent having my TA cancel my initial booking and me doing the Black Friday booking myself.... I received nothing from HA confirming anything. 40+ minutes online with a HA rep -> 30+ minutes on the phone with a different HA rep -> 10+ minutes with a HA supervisor -> No email verification of any kind that the booking actually exists for another 3+ hours. And then filling out a so-called required TA Transfer form that ends up being totally unnecessary.... It was a very long day. Just because you reach your destination, doesn't mean the journey has to be difficult.... (Deep Thoughts with Jack Handy🤪 )
  20. Ya did exactly that. Sent to HA, copied to my TA. My guess is that it takes so long for HA to do the paperwork transfer, we would have been past Final Payment by the time they did the transfer. Hence the “oral” request. 😆
  21. Exactly. And that is just what I trust mine to do moving forward. A good TA is priceless!
  22. Nancy, of course. Full disclosure. The fare I ending up booking (to get the CAN $500 saving) was a non-refundable deposit. Normally my TA never even considers those and didn’t realize that’s what I was seeing. She knows me well and knows I don’t book those fares. And normally I don’t. But we had FCDs and final payment is very soon. The “glitch” was on my end. 😁
