  1. I'll be there with you. I grant you my allotment of bubbly. 🤪
  2. Sounds like port roulette to me. 🙄 No matter how cheap they make it, it's not worth the gamble - unless you're willing to settle for a cruise to nowhere. Evidenced by some posts already on this thread.
  3. A floating hotel - from which you cannot leave. More like a sea day with the engines hut down.
  4. Funny thing, I didn't even think Bermuda was a port stop from about November through February or March. Perhaps I just never noticed, or maybe this was scheduling from the "old days".
  5. Please note my correction. $537 pp The summary statement that I pulled the first figure from had paid shorex included.
  6. Oops. Actually $537 pp I read that figure from my TA's latest statement. Although the words "shore excursions" does not appear, they added them to the taxes and fees on their billing summary, unlike NCL which shows them separately.
  7. It seems to general rule is the $29 special is done once per week, across the board. The Platinum benefit is for FREE laundry weekly.
  8. I totally agree. No clue about NCL's app, but many tasks are diificult, even impossible, working form a phone screen. I avoid like the plague.
  9. This is a wonderful and heartwarming story. I'm so glad to hear how it has worked out (so far. LOL). That said, not all potential surprisees may take it the same way. I'd say if you really, truly, know your "customers", you now if you should dare make the move.
  10. Apologies for this post - the brain misread the month as being earlier. Kindly disregard.
  11. I don't get it. The return run shifts everyone to the opposite side. If you swap seats, everyone gets the same view as the trip up. ??
  12. Search the recent threads on this board. Glacier Bay may have reduced access due to ice. It will be COLD. Dry or not, I would give it a hard pass.
  13. As for movement, I can't imagine you would notice a difference from a 1 deck change. Deck 10 is 2 below the public areas, which should be fine. Deck 9 similar. I agree with other's comments about the storage area. There should be no activity at night; and, you actually have fewer across the way neighbors to possibly make noise.
  14. Tell me about it. June 2020 - New England/Canada - RCCL - canceled January 2021 - Panama Canal - Bliss - canceled Finally replacing the second one next month.
  15. Try PCR. Negotiate for a bigger discount.
  16. I don't doubt your story. But, I just took a few minutes to peruse the NCL site. Looked at anything to do with dining, add on package (to FAS dining), FAQ's and T&C's. Not a word about transferability. Or multi-use meal vouchers. Now, I can understand if the meals cannot be, literally, given away (it's in your name and you can't send your pal in their trying to claim on your voucher. In my suggestion, it's your voucher, at your table, and you are entitled to use it when you want. And NCL loses nothing, theoretically - they only give up the expected number of meals. Anyone else was not compelled to buy in.
  17. I would inquire about this possibility onboard prior to dining, If they say no, you could then purchase the additional meals.
  18. As long as the holder is at the table, nothing. As I said, I wasn't certain that you could.
